Well, I agree w/ that to an extent...it doesn't have to be loud and crazy, but some of the ppl in the video I saw were just NOT into it at all and I'd just like to see fans that appreciate them right up front--that's what got me.

Well, it's been confirmed by multiple sources that the non-fans in the Camden crowd sucked ass and really ruined it for the fans. We're talking about people who just weren't into being there at all. Big bummer!
And good to hear I don't have to "sing" along next time. Believe me, it's not audible...I was mostly talking about showing enthusiasm for and interest in the band playing.

red rocks show was great.

mastadon was pretty cool. i liked.
alice in chains was okay. i left just before they ended their set.
deftones stole the show imo. crowd seemed pleased with the energy of deftones, and although it seemed like most people were there for AIC, i think that most would argue that deftones have a more raw performance and get everyone involved. i was a bit annoyed that the set list was exactly the same as kansas, but i think it´s a great choice of songs for this kind of tour.  you could tell most people probably weren´t familiar with adrenaline, but to end the show with those 3 songs got everyone jumping around. don´t get me wrong, i would prefer to exchange the songs i´ve heard from every show i´ve been to with, say: one weak, mascara, battle axe, combat etc. but i'll take it. seeing deftones at red rocks for the second time was worth it. should be headlining based on what i saw, but i've been saying that for 10 years.

My connection's back, by the way. I haven't seen any important change in the latest setlists. They're playing a headlining show tonight, let's hope for a cool long ass setlist.
