Holy shit... Pit tix for Camden were already sold out!  I had to shell out $533 for 2 platinum pit tix...  Worth it, I suppose.

'Passenger' with Brandon Boyd would be dope

I don't understand why in the middle of this tour Incubus is playing Cleveland, but Deftones aren't coming with them even though they don't have any other shows scheduled that day. Not a happy camper.

I'm guessing they will play a show or two that week.  My bet is LC Pavilion or Newport Music Hall in Columbus. I live in eastern Ohio and already bought tickets for the Cincinnati show but will gladly go to Cleveland, Columbus, or Pittsburgh to see them as well. It's not like they need a 7 day break after only playing three shows with Incubus. I bet we hear something this week since the Incubus headline shows just got announced and those tickets don't go onsale to general public until Fri 24th. If anyone hears anything do let me know or post on this thread asap.

I am sorry but after seeing deftones in an intimate club setting these types of shows just don't appeal to me.

August 21 – Maryland Heights, MD – Hollywood Casino Amphitheater

I checked Google Maps and this venue is actually in Missouri, not Maryland. Disappointed me.

Anyone else going to the Tinley Park/Chicago show?

remember when deftones used to charge $30-$40 for tickets and were pretty awesome live, instead of charging $70-$80 for tickets and sucking ass? good times.

yeah, i think you are right, but even in that case, all of you fuckers are lucky enough to have the chance of watching deftones live many times in just one year, so stop bitching about the locations.

I've seen Deftones 4 times, just once time in my country, and traveled 8 hours to see them, $70 in 2007, so...

Man, I really hate paying money to see my favorite band. Just the absolute worst. Ugh.

Won't the price just be because it's a double headliner tour as opposed to a single headliner? so you're basically paying extra to see Incubus whether you like them or not which sucks. Also Deftones have only been to NZ 3 or 4 times the first time was back in the 90's in some small club and the other times have been part of big day out festival where they get like a 30-45 min set and tickets cost $175+, so if you gave me the chance to see them play a full set for $70 I'd jump at it, you US fans are so lucky some of you get 3 or 4 chances a year to see them, could be a lot worse you could have huge travel costs or a long wait for something that might not happen as your options.

Great point,NZ. I've been able to see Deftones 7 times since 2004 and I'm grateful for that.. I'm going to the Cincinnati show now, so this will be number 8. Even though I live in Ohio I  still have to drive like 4 hours to see their shows and have done so before in the past too. For sure worth it.

but u say it yourself, even in the US the distances can be really big so its not that simple just to say "you US fans are so lucky".

I think we had a similar discussion a while ago and there were some normal gigs in Australia around all those Big Day Out festival gigs and in my opinion that would've been a good opportunity. If theres a will, theres a way, thats just how I feel about it. And even with all the expenses like night in a hostel and travelling, in the end its something you remember for a lifetime and no concert footage on youtube could ever make up for that.

Yeah that was just a general comment I get people can have to travel but I'm still jealous it's within driving distance and I think Australia will be probably be the way to go for me, they've said they want to do their own tour of NZ but I won't hold out for it, just gotta get to a position where I can the spend the grand or so to do it.
