Then why the hell are you a fan of Korn and Limp Bizkit? Lol...they've been making the same songs over and over for twenty years. The only time LB tried to evolve was with that Unquestionable Truth shit by biting Rage. That's until Fred realized no one wanted to hear the Nookie guy make shallow political observations, so he went right back to his usual red cap frat boy shit. And no, Korn making a dubstep album isn't them evolving. That's an example of Korn trying to cling onto popular music trends in a desperate attempt to stay popular. A Korn...dubstep album. *shudders*

Granted, Stinkin Park has evolved, but it has NOT been a good evolution...as evidenced by their new single.
The dubstep album is a bad example of any " evolution " . " Issues " , " Untouchables " , " See You On The Other Side " etc. are better examples. They can be hit-or-miss, though, I'll admit . I really enjoyed their most recent album, though.

Yeah, those are all old albums though. The dubstep one is more recent. As far as their newest album goes? Well, I'm never going to listen to something called "The Serenity of Suffering" just off general principle alone.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gR_5lFNuYZI Amazing new song by the new band Vexes (band lists deftones as an influence on their front page)! Album comes out later this month! I'm so excited after all Gore was such a huge let down.

Chevelle- Send the Pain Below. Basically a BQAD rip off.

Speaking of BQAD ripoffs:
'Out of Spite' by Stutterfly is another one. Can't find the single track on utube but the album the song is from was uploaded here: https://youtu.be/awyUeApvb3c?t=1953 (32:34 mark)
Never heard it mentioned in Deftones circles before

the bassist of stutterfly formed an incredible deftones-sounding band called shreddy krueger. it's one of my favourite bands, I strongly suggest you to check them out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRxyae4Q5tU&t=0s&list=PLoLB3fFrR1337jdm1rM8YC0MNuweFnDUy&index=5

Yeah, Vexes really sounds like Deftones. Almost to a creepy degree.

The Deftones reddit put me onto this band, sounds like Deftones mixed with some Team Sleep and Palms.

Didn't see Mahumodo mentioned in this thread either. Many similarities here, especially the vocalists screams.

Swedish band Blindside were definitely doing an 'Adrenaline-era-Deftones' impression on their first album
