just got back from seeing this, and there just aren't enough words to describe how great of a movie this is. it has everything a great movie should have, and whatever it lacks (which is close to nothing) wouldn't have made it any better. aside from some fucking frat boys and other philistines who apparently missed the last showing of "Hitman" this was a hell of a movie experience.

nice. and crowd does effect. the mewithoutyou, thrice, and brand new show i went to was littered with teenie-bop-emo-vaginal swabs being still and looking stupid while waiting for brand new to come on... i got told on like twice for jumping up and down and the bouncerstried to kick me out. sry for the vent

why didn't you like it?

it was flawless.

I dunno..it just bored me. I guess i'm just not into this kinda movie though. Or maybe I didn't understand it like everyone else did. What I got from it was there is a serial killer lookin for his drug money, shootin people in the head with some fucking air canister. I mean...what really was so brilliant about that?

just the air canister itself was brilliant.

hey I dont think any less of you for not liking it.  Some of my best friends hated it.  Actually pretty much all the marines I was in afghanistan with were talking about how horrible the movie was before I saw it.  They kept bitching out the ending and how it made no sense.  It made me not want to see it.  But then I saw people on here talking about it so I figured I would give it a shot.  My jaw was dropped the entire movie because of how awesome it was.  I just think the casting was perfect.  The way they filmed it was perfect.  The characters themselves were just very awesome to me.  I just loved it.  By far one of the best movies of all time.

very valid points, but what made this movie so great was the direction, dialogue and the incredibly awesome camera work. you don't see this kind of filming or acting style in modern movies anymore. just seeing this movie on the screen and hearing the characters talk completely submerged me into it.

although i hated the ending, i think this movie, for at least 2 hours or so, brought back the feeling of watching a masterpiece.

it is possible to like both. i just loved No Country better. if not for that movie, TWBB would have won everything at the oscars.
it really was a work of art. i only think No Country kept you in it the whole way through. NCFOM was my best movie experience

this is really the only kind movies i watch these days. its just my taste in "films" now (so to each his/her own). i usually only watch independent releases and documentaries and such... no country is good but just not to par with other efforts of theirs. i did like it alot at first but it kind of lost hold....

no I need to.  I cant accept that so many people loved such a horrible movie.  I was expecting something totally different when I started watching it.  So maybe now that I know what to expect I can get over that it wasn't what I thought it was and actually enjoy it.

Maybe I should do that with this movie...though I still don't think it'll work. :/

haha the man is a great actor, at the same time as being fucking cool, at the same time fucking the hottest actress.

the man even says architecture is his passion, while acting is his job. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/2066592/Brad-Pitt-turns-architect-and-designs-Dubai-hotel.html

i dunno.... seems a bit trite.... raising arizona, fargo, and big lebowski are flawless... no country was good but not perfect... and i will def be eager to see this movie but just how the preview was done it seems like its gonna be a smash hit..

brad pitt on the other hand is astounding,  mean think about all the classic roles he already has under his belt. he's one of the greatest of all times, hands down.
its funny to think he was on "tales from the crypt" not so long ago...remember that shit!
i had some bitches try to tell me tom cruise was a better actor and had been in better movies...
needless to say, I slapped a hoe... (well two actually) :)
