You damn right - that was an ace few minutes. Ive just got back into watching it, since tuning in to see the Rock back - and Punks shoot was inspired stuff. What drove me away back in 04 was the lack of anyone stepping up with something other than what the shit storyline writers told em - and boy oh boy, seeing a few guys exchanging ' No I should be number one contender' type bollocks got hellish boring. The Attitude era wasnt amazing only because it was brutal, it was choc-a-bloc with amazing mic guys - Rock, Austin, Triple HHH, Foley etc etc...it had the feel of them being told the rough direction they were wanted to go, and then they improvised their lines. After that it was wooden shitty actors wall-to-wall. This was the first thing I've seen that had me genuinely excited. I must say though - R Truth is an entertaining swine.
