I'm moving into a new room, bigger then the one i've got. and i'm thinking of reinvationg that room.
so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

um..put christmas lights up..but a crazy amount..EVRYWHERE. An dont ever take them down either..buy like 20 sets and put them up
make it an upside-down room. glue everything to the ceiling.
or paint each wall in different colour, stick some Andy Warhols works on your walls, get stoned and start screaming I AM A POP ART STAR
or maybe a lowrider room: keep everything as low as possible - sleep on a matress, no chairs, no desk etc.

yea the adult attempt to make a comfortable yet intersting pad....eh, full carpet, bright yet controlled lighting, and no junvenile posters could be a good direction but what do i know...my placce consits simply of,a couch and an assortment of pictures

all the furniture just sucks. I mean don't get me wrong, I love the price, but it all just looks cheap and boxy to me. Like really simple. I just think it is overrated. I know I am a bit of a snob when it comes to furniture. But I just want my home to feel unique and like mine. Feel really nice and quality. I'm just weird when it comes to decorating my place. I just don't feel like I get any of those things from IKEA. Not to mention that when I go to their store or look online, I don't find anything that I like. Although I will admit, due to budget issues, I might get a bed from them. MIGHT.
ikea is good if you don't mind having your place looking like everyone else's...
It's pretty affordable, and of nice quality, not great, but more than good enough.
That said nothing in my flat comes from ikea but my bed, and the common glasses / forks / knives / spoons, etc.
Oh, and 2 cd racks... Oh and a big carpet... Oh and a cupboard....

yeah I hear all that. Saving money always trumps pretty much everything else. I have pretty limited options out here in 29 palms. There is one furniture store about 30 min away that sells Ashley. Thats it. So its been a pain in the ass. But I refuse to go cheap on my living room. I already dished out the money for a Natuzzi couch, chair and ottoman. So why go cheap on everything else and ruin that? Ill probably have to buy a love seat too now that Im in a bigger place. So ill break the bank a bit for all that. But then ill probably do something kind of cheap for my bedroom.

if you can pull it off, as a teen, making your room like a lounge is the shit. A bed, couch or love seat, and a central TV. Maybe even your bed be a Futon. Or if the room is big enough add a recliner too. Make it so that it is a comfortable chilling environment for multiple people. Like a studio apartment. Plus thats more places to fuck your chick.
