I think this author just found a fresh way to write those romance-sex novels that you would expect to find Fabio posing on the cover for. We all ignored them forever while girls shamefully hid them under their beds and read them when no one was looking. It seems to me that this author found a socially acceptable way to re introduce all that ridiculousness into our lives. But this time she targeted young girls, and the moms just jumped on board. It's a little disturbing when you think about it. I prefer books like the one below. Because at least people had the common sense not to buy it for their kid daughters, unless they wanted them to turn into sluts.
