yeah, I feel it. Pitchfork was all over this album with review etc, I gave it a chance, but I do feel that there are some better albums this year (at least for me personally)
Listened to this guys' albums for the first time yesterday.
I don't get what all the fuss is about. Sounds like your typical singer/songwriter. Okay, his voice is pretty original. but I'm not blown away by it.
He's got nothing on Elliott Smith.
i felt the same way after the first listen. Heard it for first time last week.
When i heard it i didnt even know there was a fuss about it, i literally knew nothing about it, kinda had that 'stumble upon' factor.
