Eleven Tigers - Clouds are Mountains [2010]
Kinda occupies that ambient dubstep space that acts like Swarms and Phaeleh reside in (no shitty wobbly bass, woo!), but this album also hits more of a techno (house? fuck if I know, I suck at electronic classifications) sound at times. Pretty decent; 7/10.
Eleven Tigers - Stableface (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdbZXuhNP74#ws)
Sounds really nice ^^
Lamb of God - Resolution
A lot much better than the boring Sacrament and much aggressive than the shity Wrath
Too bad no extra tracks of anything.

Interesting album. Little boring in places. Will need some more listens.

Not at all what I expected. Weird album. Really liked some of the songs, but overall it left me kinda empty.

And I take back what I said about the new Crippled Black Phoenix being boring in some places. I'm in love with this album now. So good.

Future Sound Of London - Lifeforms [1994]
One of those groups that seemed like something I should like, but I tried the album Dead Cities a while ago and wasn't tooooo into it. Definitely enjoying this one a lot more; some solid ambient shit for sure. Haven't fully digested it yet (1.5 hours long!!) but I can't imagine going lower than 8/10

the Crippled Black Phoenix album has officially given Lamb of God the boot out of my stereo.
Yeah. The Crippled black phoenix album is great. I didn't even know it was coming before you posted it here. And i didn't have high hopes for it, as i didn't really enjoy the last one that much.

Crippled Black Phoenix: I don't listen to these guys really, but I try every album they put out because they aaaaalmost sound like something I'd want to listen to. (Mankind) isn't quite what I'm looking for, but I'll still be giving their next album a spin regardless.
Amon Tobin - Permutation: might be my favorite Amon Tobin. not sure why it took me so long to listen to this
A Place to Bury Strangers - Onwards To The Wall EP: first couple tracks sound a bit like Exploding Head leftovers, other three tracks indicate that their sound may actually be evolving. Solid EP, and looking forward to the next full length, whenever that happens
I have listened currently Jannat2 songs................

I don't usually check out Pitchfork.com, but I happened to the day this album had like a 9/10 score. I thought the artwork looked dope, so I checked it out. The whole album is pretty awesome, very original and unique. They have a cool band bio as well. Basically a bunch of local villagers from Sweden that just jam together.. the only solid member is the singer/guitarist.

I never cared for this band. Always thought they were typical "scene-metal". Mandatory combo of screams and growls + breakdowns.
This new album, however, is a completely different sound. It reminds me of a mix between Thrice, Every Time I Die and Nine Inch Nails.
I hate to say it, but it's really damn good. Give it a chance and try to forget about the general hate this band gets.

I felt exactly the same way about them. The only thing I liked at all by them was the song Pray for Plagues, thought they were terrible otherwise. But Sempiternal really fucking impressed me.
The last album I listened to was the new Streetlight Manifesto, The Hands That Thieve. I'm still having a bit of trouble remembering what song is what, but it's pretty damn solid and I'm liking it more with each listen.

Features the guitarist from dredg, the drummer from Far and the dude from the band The Trophy Fire on vocals. The album has one or two mediocre songs, but overall it's really solid. I definitely urge you to check out "Code", "Chinaski", "I'm just the driver", "And we explode Pt. 1" and "Head for the Hills". Especially the latter two have some serious dredg vibes going on.

Marilyn Manson - The Pale Emperor
For many "not heavy enough", in my opinion still a pretty solid release.Pretty nice limited deluxe edition, that is why the CDs/Vinyls are never going to die :D so fuck you MP3 :D
Title Fight - Hyperview
Early contender for album of the year :)
Yup, Title Fight's Hyperview yet again. Vinyl should arrive soon.
Check out Chlorine, Your Pain Is Mine Now and Liar's Love, if you can dig a punk rock shoegaze mashup.
Title Fight has been my favorite band for quite some time. Been a fan since TLTYF.
I love Hyperview - love the direction they are going in. Their live shows rule as well.
Call of the Void's new album 'Ageless'.
Faith No More_Sol Invictus
Such a triumphant return. This is their best album since Angel Dust.
Old Western vibes .
Middian - Age Eternal
Iron Maiden - The Book of Souls
Sci-Fi Crimes - Chevelle
Most Precious Blood - Nothing in Vain
Trivium - Silence In The Snow

Fightstar - Behind The Devil's Back
Guilty pleasure. Most of the choruses are pretty cheesy, although I enjoy the heavy riffs and synths on most of the tracks
Yeah, Fightstar's latest is well good. That outro of Overdrive is way cool and the whole album has this underlying 80s Drive soundtrack vibe going on.
Major Deftones influences all over it too (as always). Behind The Devil's Back as the song is a bit Diamond Eyes influenced.
I really like the song Dive. Comes kinda close to Deftones in terms of mood
silverstein - discovering the waterfront
Joanna Newsom - Divers
Killing Joke - Pylon.
Offspring- Smah
H2O 'Use Your Voice'
Megadeth - Dystopia

Toothgrinder's Nocturnal Masquerade. It's pretty badass.
The Black Queen
Fucking incredible sounds from the 80's plus NIN and DM.
I wouldn't mind if Greg spends more time in this project, even though I love TDEP
And last, the samplist is a fucking genius.
Uxo 'Uxo'

11/10
This album is everything in the world! It's rare that band consistently gets better with every album and this is their 8th!
It's out tomorrow (9/23). They played a preview show last Saturday and sold it there, so it leaked. They had so many pre-orders they didn't care, obviously. Proper review with better words than mine here: http://newnoisemagazine.com/review-every-time-i-die-low-teens/ (http://newnoisemagazine.com/review-every-time-i-die-low-teens/)
PS: for context in the review: Keith's wife almost died giving birth to their first child, while he was on tour (both made it!). The weeks he spent in the hospital not knowing if they would live or die are all over the lyrics and tone of the album. Glitches is partly about the attacks in the venue in Paris.
PSS: The Bonus tracks will only be on downloads and those haven't leaked. One of those is labeled "Deftones" by Keith (vocalist) in some "one word review" of the album he did. He's a huge Deftones fan, so I am not surprised. They had a track on their debut called "In The Event That Everything Should Go Terribly Wrong" that is virtually indistinguishable from Deftones track (minus vocals of course).

Man it really is! So mad at myself for sleeping on it for so long. I had listened to with teeth a lot back in the day but never really gave his others a chance. Gonna dig into his whole catalog now. Can't see anything beating that record tho.
Whitechapel - Mark Of The Blade
I really don't know why all the hate for clean vocals and some melodies on this album. Great album and very nice touch from Phil to dedicate the last song of the album to the fans sticking to this band since the beginning.

Jaye Jayle - Prisyn
A local band just released their first EP, I first heard about these guys when they were on the lineup for a smaller gig in my city. The venue was basically a big basement and these guys sounded massive compared to the other bands, I think they were only a 3 piece aswell.
Their style is pretty cool, it's kind of shoegazey but has heaviness and groove, kind of reminiscent of Hum in certain ways. Might have some elements Deftones fans might like.
Seems like vocals are kind of secondary, they are basically used as another instrumental low as they sit very low in the mix even live but I kind of like the dissonance of it.
Highlights for me are "Idle" and "Bottom of the Pile" though "Verandah" is sneaking up there.
