Hell yeah, I love the Olympics. Stoked about USA basketball, watching some women's soccer, women's gymnastics, women's track, Usain Bolt look like he's running on air, and my newest found gem of a sport (I love curling in the winter) handball. Really don't get why it hasn't caught on over here.

And Curling, are you for real?!? Everytime I saw that I laughed,I could soo own that shit cause I can clean floors like no other. haha!

I just don't see it. You clear the ice of debris/smooth it out to get the granite to slide further. I'm for real trying out for that. But I would watch it just because it made me laugh.

So...the soccer started a few day's ago? How is that?

Being a Canadian, I don't really give a shit about summer olympics. It seems incredibly lackluster this time too. People don't seem as excited as past olympics. Maybe if they brought baseball back I'd watch. I won't be paying attention though.

Just be glad you don't live in the UK. Everyone's been sucking there own dicks over it for the last 12 months. Danny Boyle was pretty much just clutching at any straws he could I thought. It was just one crazy mind numbing clusterfuck of an opening ceremony in my opinion. I'm with you, I will try my best to not pay attention.
On a slightly related note. McDonalds give away free olympic coke glasses and people go retarded for them because they have it in their heads they with appreciate in value. Dumb fucks.

Too bad they didn't include karate and squash after dropping baseball and softball as Olympic sports.

So far no medal for any athlete from my country, but I am more the sports addict than a patriot anyways. Looking forward to the USA-France basketball game in two hours, after that beach volleyball and table-tennis in the evening.

But yeah, I'm still rockin' handball, US volleyball and womens gymnastics whenever it's been on. Can't wait for track and field events to start up tomorrow though.

^ I'm watching most of the Olympics on official live streams, maybe your countries broadcasters offer a service like that as well... i'd go nuts if I had to watch cycling + swimming on eurosport all day.

Todays highlights for me: everything Tennis related, especially the Mens and Womens Singles Semi-Finals. And Mixed Doubles is gonna be cool, too.
Also lots of Womens beach volleyball all morning, and Womens volleyball later in the day. Honestly I think today I'm not gonna leave my apartment.

Our does have live streams online. But they also deliberately don't show the best events on tv until the evening and spend the whole day pretending like no one here uses the internet and already knows what fucking happens.

6 channels always online both on tv and internet and they show different sports.
Also the commentaries are pretty good at it.

But you can find the ''Eurosport'' streams, too.

Bravo and Telemundo are the only channels putting different things. For NBC and their other channels the only shit they put is Volleyball,Swimming,Waterpolo,Beach Volleyball and keep on sucking on Phelps' dick aaaaaall day.I would watch it online but it is not the same :/ What a shitty company putting the same shit over and over.I hope they put the Taekwondo competition next week.

Football isn't big as an Olympic sport, and I think its good that way. When Spain and Uruguay don't survive the group stage, you know they didn't bring their best squads to London.

Looking forward to Tae Kwon Do today!!

Also Argentina vs. Brazil, both in Volleyball and another time in Basketball, should be good competition today.

Because Olimpics is more the way about amateur sports.
And football doesnt need olimpics to be watched or loved.
Thats why athletism and this kind of sports are more important than football or basketball in olimpics.
Its the spirit.

and today the next dilemma for Brazil, losing the Volleyball Gold Medal match against Russia. Epic stuff there, blowing a 2:0 lead in sets. Russia was good, no doubt about that but that was totally their own fault... maybe the women put too much pressure on them, winning their Gold Medal match yesterday.

Overall I enjoyed the Olympics, but I am also happy that the football season begins soon.
By the way, in case anyone heard of the football match where a Benfica SL player knocked out the referee, that was a friendly match against my club! How stupid of Luisao, hes gonna get a ban for that, 2-3 months I'd say.
