Saw an article from NPR about this band a couple months ago. Checked them out and fell in love with this band. Anyone ever checked them out before?

YES! Pinkshinyultrablast are amazing. Their EP from several years ago is more or less straightforward shoegaze but still great. Everything Else Matters was awesome and an AOTY contender for 2015. Their new album that came out in January is even better and so far is my favorite album of the year.
So many modern shoegaze/dream pop bands get so much shit for being "generic" but they honestly have a fresh sound. I heard recently that they relocated to the US, LA i believe? So now they have a pretty good chance of doing some shows in the US.
I also love how they got their name from an Astrobrite album.
EDIT: Should add that they are probably one of my favorite bands at the moment and I eagerly await anything they release

Glad to know someone else likes them. I really like their first EP and their first album. I preordered the new album on vinyl and hoping it ships soon! I guess I can spend another few hundred dollars on all their vinyl. I did with my bloody valentine. I have a weakness for shoegaze it seems.
Haha, I've definitely got that weakness too! Bought the album, completely in love with it - didn't realise they were so riffy for some reason! Imagine they'd be immense live - gotta look out for gigs now!
