Seriously, you need to download this album; Jakob - Solace

This is the most emotional, beautiful post-rock I have ever heard. Every track tries so hard to bring a tear to your eye. Hairs on the back of your neck stand up type of album this, trully worthy of your attention...

Amazing stuff.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Athens, Georgia - 03/08/03

Quote:
All the videos together equal 1.11 GB. These are quality videos, they sound good and they look good, even in fullscreen. It's a Godspeed show, so, as you can imagine, it's a bit dark. The projections in the background, especially during "World Police and Friendly Fire", make up for it though.

Unfortunately I only have two of their albums, the other ones seem to be hard to find. But I have fallen in love with this band so much that I'm going to try and buy their CD's. Only thing is, they come from New Zealand and I'm all the way over here in London so finding their CD's is going to be a right struggle. But I will continue to try...

Amazon has SOLACE on sale so I may as well just buy that, but I want all their CD's, not just one!  :D

I've been listening to God is an Astronaut all week and I'm pretty sure Tempus Horizon Beyond The Dying Light is one of my favorite songs of ever.

Rest - Operation Impending Doom EP (2007)

Instrumental metal/postrock band. Highly recommended for fans of ISIS, Cult of Luna and Explosions in the Sky as well.

Check this out! It's a really good EP, worth downloading
