the best blog in the world has a new album by Pg. Lost. I had never heard them, so I checked it out, and once again I was impressed.

Part II: http://rapidshare.com/files/251343620/mor-b.part2.rar

This album is just incredible. The whole album is based on a silent movie Siegfried (you can find the synced movie/album here - http://www.youtube.com/user/adamberry80#p/u just find the first part and so on), but I love the album on itself without the movie anyway. So, this album contains rich post-rock vibes interconnected with what I call "the middle age progressive rock" (there's a type of progressive rock that resembles with some medieval themes, have no idea why. yet this album fits the profile with the track titles etc). The record is grandeur, highly conceptual. My favorite tracks would be The Sword, The Dragon, The Meeting, The Death and The End. Though all of the record is really good. Highly recommended. I really hope this will blow your mind just as it blew mine.

Finally checking out Aaron Turner's side-project Jodis, which definitely goes under the ambient category.

Pretty cool so far, but nothing mindblowing.

I guess it fits in here but the new Pyramids with Nadja is really great. Quite dark and emotional, I think you might like it Darius. Some nice vocals in there... ;)

The streets have gone dark. They've been dark for days. We board up the house. Hide upstairs and wait!
