Aloha the Word!
In all its corrosive
Denouncing its structure to forgetting its name
Wake up in the morning
In the summer
(What a bummer)
I can smell
The Sharptons full out in bloom at this time of year
I can articulate
A dashiki with tails
They fire the pigeons
And we're cooed to a lull
Of submission
Of reverse-subjugation
You say "queer"
And their tears fall all around the house
They're tired and ill
From being trounced with our words
H to the izzo
M to the izzo
But these utterings are not the dragon itself
But mere cinders it ejects from its flames
They die out in the plague
So why do I wave my white flag?
As these surfactantive pundits "tsk tsk" the monster at its feet
What ever happened to "I have a dream?"
Because now we're just lodging mortars against freedom of speech
The discourse, played out
Move on
Get right
There will be no reparations
Until those who cry out for it free slavery from its currently inhabited nations
Ho-hum
Continue on diminishing contrast
Abating gender and race
But I am not the enemy
It's you
And your generals
Waging this war
Stoking the flames
Excusing the actions of those who should hold the blame
Your petitions killed chivalry
And you embrace slumber smug as a zealot
Sleep
Sleep!
My dear sheep
For sleep is the cousin of death

it has come to my attention that "h to the izzo, m to the izzo" is a line nas used in a jay-z diss song when i initially thought it was merely a clever play on a jay-z song.  my apologies for paraphrasing/quoting 2 nas songs in the same piece.

Never mind about that! It's fucking inspired. Amazing - what I would like to do. Very enjoyable as well.
