Yeah, he is. I just saw a TS El Rey live performance from 05 and rob looked kinda funny jumping around not really knowing what to do on stage. :-) But, his vocals are spot on for a band like TS.

I think maybe the reason it wasn't released is because Team Sleep made the song better, and Mike Shinoda doesn't want to admit it or something like that.  The excuse of "it's too dark" smells like bullshit to me... If he outright said that he didn't like it, that it seemed more depressing than the original, or something along those lines, I would believe him...
