In my opinion.  This kind of logic has ruined our country.  Saying that you are just voting for these horrible candidates because they are the only real choices or that you are just trying to keep the greater of two evils out of office is just crap.  It has empowered the republicrats to do whatever they want.  Send the biggest lap dogs into office and run this country from behind closed doors with no accountability from the people ( that is the definition of a republic after all ) so by voting for these people, you have actually voted away your rights.

If you do not understand why, watch the movie Uncounted. The past presidential election was FUCKED because of this method. It is OBSCENELY easy to install hidden software that will flip votes. The only way you could actually see that the software is even there is by looking at the source code and how the fuck do you do that before you vote? You can't. DO NOT use a voting machine.

in my neck of the woods (ohio) you dont get a piece of paper to take home, but a paper printout does appear under this little plastic window you can review after voting. im seriously leaning to vote 3rd party this year (green or libertarian; i know two wholly different viewpoints) rather than either of the major party candidates, but in the end i probeably will vote mainstream so my vote doesnt end being thrown away
