No More Sugar

I really dig Massive Attack.

Also, The Chemical Brothers are mind BLOWING. in all ways, even though they're more something to go in the electronic thread.

The streets have gone dark. They've been dark for days. We board up the house. Hide upstairs and wait!

Why havent I seen this thread. Trip Hop makes about 50 per cent of all music I listen to nowadays.
I shall try Saltillo and Four Tet in a couple of days.

Some great stuff mantioned here so far, Thievery Corporation, and DJ Shadow, excellent!

Why dont you Trip Hop/Downtempo lovers go get some Wax Tailor, Bonobo, Esthero, Hooverphonic or even Nightmares on Wax. Those should get your juices flowing.

Cool Stuff, cool thread.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Tricky.. One of the true OG's and real innovators in this style of music. He pretty much helped make the blueprint for Trip Hop with Massive Attack, and his first solo album, before it was even called Trip Hop..

Or check out his latest one:

Yea Moon Safari is an all-time classic.

So apparently Massive Attack plans on releasing an EP in May - mostly consisting of songs that didn't make Heligoland and potentially some new tracks as well.

Wow, not too far into this thread and i've discovered some great sounds... I'm pretty much a noob to most Trip-hop influenced artist, and from what I gather Massive attack is the foundation for this genre. For a first timer what are the best albums from M.A. that gives a well rounded perspective to what they have to offer? Thanks to everyone who introduced the preceeding artists
