Bassist Shavo Odadjian has sent recent rumours of a SOAD reunion into overdrive.

It goes without saying that System Of A Down are one of the bands that we'd most like to reunite. Whenever we post about bands that you'd like to see reunite, SOAD are always mightily high on the list and, after 3 quarters of the band reunited onstage in LA over the Christmas period, it seems as though this may be a possibility sooner rather than later.

Well, SOAD bassist Shavo Odadjian has offered the below message on his Twitter earlier today. Could there be a System Of A Down reunion on the horizon?

pretty sure lots of people care. i for one would be pretty stoked on it but not so much if it was only for touring. a new album would be pretty sweet.

does anyone know why they took the hiatus to begin with? i know they each had their little projects but their must have been some tension within the band, my guess between daron and serj...
