bright lights, big city

I got the same ones to catch up on. And we still have 4 more movies that aren't even out yet that I'm anticipating: The Hobbit, Zero Dark Thirty, Django, This is 40. I think I gotta wait till around New Year's.

Bright Lights !..Why the fuck are you so damn awesome? Cant you be a piece of shit sometimes?

Crazylegs

Holy fuck you guys watch some movies.

The only film i've seen from 2012 i think is Skyfall which i enjoyed a lot.

I'll make a list of the films i want to see. Let me know if i should scratch any of them from my list.

Prometheus
The Master
Expandables 2
Cloud Atlas
Kon Tiki

I've watched so few new movies the last few years it's almost ridiculous.

Prometheus
Expandables 2

Prometheus gets a lot shit. Pretty unfair, actually. It's a great sci-fi movie. Just don't go into expecting another Alien. If you're a fan of the sci-fi genre then I can't really see how you couldn't enjoy it.

Expendables 2... when it comes to action movies this delivers on all fronts. Simply a blast from beginning to end.

Crazylegs

Sweet. These are the two i look forward to seeing most. I was actually planning to go see prometheus this summer, but it was only available in 3d, so i said fuck it.

I personally wouldn't recommend Prometheus. It is interesting for about the first half hour, but then it goes completely off the rails with its convoluted cheesiness. It's riddled with plot holes, but worse than that, it just isn't scary at all. The trailer really promises something that is horrifying, but it doesn't deliver on that promise.

I think I might have underrated The Dark Knight Rises a little bit. I'm going to make it a little higher on my list.

And I can't believe I missed The Master in theaters. Guess I'm going to have to wait to see that one.

Inkblades

Watched Looper again. I underrated in a little bit. Probably more of an 8 than a 7.5. It's probably also better than End of Watch and Beasts of the Southern Wild.

bright lights, big city

Hey no one's mentioned Dredd on these lists. Can't wait till it comes out on blu this week. It somehow walks a perfect line between experimental indie movie and ridiculous nonstop action movie.
