I spend a majority of my time watching films, and as sad as it is I only saw two films that were released this year: Remember Me and Clash of the Titans. Both were mediocre, but I'll give Remember Me more props just because Robert Pattinson did a good job. I wanted to see a bunch of films, but my bank account hated me this year.

I just need to see Black Swan (coincidentally I am tonight) then I think I will have seen the flicks I wanted to see this year. Been a pretty good year for movies, even though I was dragged to some stinkers this year too.

at least in the u.s., dragon tattoo was in theaters this year. actually all 3 were released in the u.s. during 2010.

[Inkblades]

1. Exit Through the Gift Shop - Dope documentary that's kind of about graffiti artists but also kind of not. It raises some very interesting questions about what art can be.
2. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - This says a lot because I don't even particularly like Michael Cera. However, this was just an inventive, fun flick with a great cast.
3. True Grit - Every year, the Coen's produce a masterpiece. They aren't even human beings anymore. They are a finely tuned masterpiece making machine.
4. The Social Network
5. Inception

The last two are probably interchangeable for me. Depends on the day. I like Inception better conceptually than Social Network but Social Network is the tighter, more focused film.
