The guy definitely deserves his own thread. His two albums are close to perfection, and E-Money gave me the link to his mixtape, which has some good shit on it too.

But hey I am adding something to this discussion: http://hiphopwired.com/2011/01/27/kid-cudi-announces-new-album-mixtape/
QuoteCudi made sure to mention however that his album would not be Hip-Hop but a rock project instead.
He tweeted,

"Pushing for a summer release of the wizard album. I produce and play guitar on everything with my main man @dotdagenius. he's learnin bass. the maniac film will b released later this year. cage, shia and i really want everything just right, and i need the proper time for scoring. the edit must be epic. wizard is a rock album, no raps, just singing. brand new thing. flavor."

He also added,

"Oh i forgot the best news ever.... new mixtape "a man named scott."

The guy is a machine

Oh shit didn't even see the Cudder thread...

He might not have the best flow or whatever but he's one hell of an artist.  He's found a way to connect with our generation.  Especially white suburban kids, and thats pretty sick IMO.  He's definitely sparked my love for hip hop.

Bright lights, you've heard his mixtape A Kid Named Cudi.... right?  If u haven't check it out cuz he basically has 3 albums and the mixtape i gave u.  Wizards is gonna be ill.  Here's some downloads of all the samples cudi, emile, and dot used for the first couple records.  I've got mad respect for them after hearing how creative they got with this shit.

this basically sums up the greatness of him that I feel too. And why he's gotten so huge.

mos def.  He just gets it.  I love how he doesn't try to be all hard.  He's down to earth and honest.  Thats really cool to me.  Check out this sick unofficial video for Ghost!
