My thread. Yay? To start this off...

Daughters - Self Titled

Year: 2010
Genre: Math Metal, Experimental Metal, Noise
Sounds Like: Earlier albums are reminiscent of Converge. After a new vocalist with this release, the sound is quite a bit different.
Slight hint of bands such as DEP, Botch, Genghis Tron, etc. Vocals are similar to The Jesus Lizard.

Bright Lights !..Why the fuck are you so damn awesome? Cant you be a piece of shit sometimes?

Jerry_Curls

Totally stopped listening to them after their first album, but I kept reading reviews about their albums. Saw that they would praised with each album, just didn't have time. I do now and I wish I had. I really like what I'm hearing from their last album. Interesting stuff I might, considering they sprung out at a time when metal was becoming popular and a lot of the other bands that did, kind of went nowhere with their music. They remind of
..Yeah don't go there,

I let you get to me

yeah yeah.

Zola Jesus not doing much work for me, but I know someone that I think will like it a lot, so I'm gonna pass it along

Pretty much all their albums are amazing, and with the concept Ryan has going it all feels like one giant cohesive body of work

theis

Been listening to Trap Them and Black Breath on repeat since yesterday.

Awesome albums.

I think I dig Black Breath the most.
