I'm not amazed!

From what I've seen, generally, if you like it then it will probably suck and if you don't like it then it will probably be good. So I have to say that I'm very pleased to hear this from you.

In fact, I should probably get your view on all new music that I listen to, to determine if it's any good. I won't even have to listen to it, just ask you how you feel about it, and assume the opposite must be true.

I'm not amazed!

That's fair, but it seems like you're not amazed by most things except skillet or bruno mars.

Your taste is a bit too commercial for me. I've always been a bit of a contrarian, and generally tend to prefer things that are not huge mainstream commercial successes. That sort of music always seems a bit soulless, to me. Generally, the more people that like it, the less challenging the music is. I just prefer challenging music, not really into easy listening.

I feel that way with gore, diamond eyes... I don't care if an artist blow up on mainstream as long as they have a strong message in their lyrics...For example: Linkin Park are good because of that...

I'm starting to think that The Prodigy, people are people, Seven and O are the same user.

This is really good instrumental post-rock.

Paleons - Hyperborean (2017)

My favorite track is probably Wheel of Anguish. There's even some moments that remind me of Pink Maggit near the end of Sun at the Eastern Gate.

More excellent post-rock, this one with some vocals. Finally! I get tired of this instrumental post-rock trend. With such a saturated market that post-rock has become, this is a breath of fresh air! I really enjoy it.

Mostly clean vocals, with faded screams every so often to accompany the loud moments, which punctuate the otherwise soft and dreamy feel of the music.

I have been waiting for this new album from The Ocean Collective for so long. Now that it's been out for a few days, and I've listened to it almost non-stop since then, I can officially put my seal of approval on it. Is it better than Pelagial? Nah, not really. But it does mark a bit of a return to their earlier sound, which some people might prefer. Regardless of how you compare it to Pelagial, it's really very good. And, honestly, it's difficult to match or surpass an album as near-perfect as Pelagial is.

And the final track, Permian: The Great Dying, is a true gem. It's an amazing song and one of the best they've ever made, in my opinion. The rest of the album is good, but that song is absolutely fantastic. The album is worth a shot.

Boris' new album Love & Evol is probably their best album since 2005's Pink.

I couldn't find the full album anywhere on YouTube, but you can find it on any streaming service.

This is their first single from the album. Check out the whole thing, and the rest of their discography!

The Ocean did it again, they followed up Phanerozoic I with another classic album, Phanerozoic II.

I know you're all still digging Ohms, but give this one a shot in between Ohms listens so you don't burn out!

The Shape of Punk to Come is such an overrated album.

Post of the year.

IF ANYTHING, New Noise as a single track is overrated, and the album is definitely not.

I've been to a football stadium where New Noise came up every time the home team scored a goal, or parties where this track was played and the guy with his laptop had no idea there was actually an entire album with New Noise on it.
I've been to rock parties in a club in my town where this song is played at least twice a night and people go nuts to it and not even half of them have heard the entire album... all that makes you think differently about that.
you are very right actually, I agreed with you.
