Alright, haha, the idea of this thread is simple: Post the music which you hate/dislike/can't stand/etc, post preferably a youtube link so people can check out what you're talking about.

Why? Because many people love the music that others hate. I would guess that the same goes for this board. Post music that you dont like, hopefully someone will love it!

The inspiration for the thread comes from this commentary from the "Best music of 2014" -thread:

Quote from: black coffee on Nov 11, 2014, 04:04 PM

favorite ong of the year:

https://soundcloud.com/kiesza/kiesza-no-enemiesz

Sorry but I have a strong disdain for Kiesza. She's fairly big here in Canada and her voice is just grating to my ears. If I have to hear that "ooh, ah" part of Hideaway again, I'm going to lose my mind.

I agree with "sing blue silver", I cant really stand the song Hideaway (youtube link: Kiesza - Hideaway (Official Video)), but it has freaking 150 million views on youtube, so many people must love it!

So, post music that you dont like, lets help each other find new favorite bands!

Edit. I changed the name of the thread to "bad" from "worst" as the "worst" music will give us too horrible music. So consider the music you post as whatever you consider "bad". It can be bad, worst, overrated, dull, too loud, boring, too poppy, too monotonic, whatever you want.

Another one, its a horrible video and horrible music.

REVEREND FANG GORY FEAT. RED 13: WELCOME TO THE GRYNDHOUSE

Saw the beat on one of my songs "similarities" and the beat was used for that song, man how awful. Many people seem to love it though.

One more. For this one I just searched for an artist which I have heard of a lot but havent checked the music. Picked the most viewed song:

Lil Wayne - Lollipop ft. Static

I dont know, it must be a joke but it has over 150 million views. I can somehow appreciate the music and the beats as such but the vocals, the song, the image, all are just such a turnoff for me.

Haha, i find your theory so far to be counter-productive.

Haha you might be right :D We'll see, someone has to post something that they dont like so I can see how it feels. Do we only get really really bad music or could it actually help in finding music. I still trust my theory :D Haha it has at least made me look for more music than I have done during the last 4 weeks combined. I even checked a new AC/DC-song just see if it qualifies for this thread. And it did, I will just save it for later  ;D

Haha never heard that before  ;D Man, that was actually kinda good, very very annoying but haha I kinda liked it :D Not as much as I would listen to it again, ever again, but still, I listened to it all the way through. Carchy stuff, fun sounds, cool hook, I can see it being a hit for sure. "Everytime I look around, everytime I look around..."

I dont know whats worse, the whimpy cleans or the atrocious, run off the mill screamed vocals.

And I have a fear that Born of Osiris will start sounding like the shit above because of their label (Sumerian). Have you heard BoO's 'Machine'?

haha good stuff guys :D OR may I say, bad stuff  8)

Worst things first: Design the skyline could have something going if they just play something else as a band, but in that song the vocals and the synths just hurt my ears. I thought my computer was lagging too, but it was just the song. I must just assume that the rest or their stuff isnt any better for me.

The dictator-video was fun, nothing more to say about that. Black veil brides was pretty much as prentetious as its name. Sounded first like a decent The 69 Eyes copy but the vocals just ruined it.

BUT, based on the videos, I actually liked Asking Alexandria and Finders. I checked out Asking Alexandria's live stuff and it was good. Is there a bright history for this band, or a destined bad future with the label? THe band sounded like a more popular version of Digital Summer. I will check out one of their albums for sure. I kinda liked Finders' whimpy cleans and atrocious screams  :-[. Sounded like a combo of Saosin, Strata and Eyes Set to Kill. Checked them out live but was very disappointed. Well, they seem to be young guys so maybe theres still a future. I could check out their album if they have one out.

Haha, you guys got the point of the thread extremrely well! Fun stuff!

The first video have seen of BVB shit was this one:

I was hoping them to be hit by someone, seriously. It's like justin bieber but for the "metal"

Watch out, Asking Alexandria have changed a lot since this album, especially the vocals. But it still bad ^^

I'm also getting pretty sick of Mumford & Sons and all the other acoustic/folk serenade bands spawned after them. (The Lumineers, Of Monsters & Men, etc.)

Thanks for the heads up Diplo, I will see what I feel about their old and new stuff on my 24-hour new music -spree on friday/saturday.

Man, Skrillex and Mumford and sons really hit the spot with bad music. Never understood why Skrillex is so popular.

This leads to the bad music Im gonna post: I dont really understand these new DJs/Producers/Singers such as Calvin Harris or David Guetta. They are really in the spotlight and working with the biggest names in music. And they are actually in the videos too. SOmeone please exlplain whats going on with the current DJ-trend. I just LOVE DJs such as Wax Tailor or Bonobo, but they are not hugely popular and I think that they shouldnt be. The difference though is that they remain in the background in the media and lets say with featuring artists the music and the featuring artists are in the spotlight, not the DJ. Live DJ sets are a different thing.

So here to show what I mean:

Calvin Harris & Alesso - Under Control ft. Hurts

Edit. And to clarify, I am so bored with the stuff I hear all the time from these artists such as Calvin Harris, David Guetta and Skrillex. And they are literally everywhere at least so it seems.

Diplo

You're welcome.

Yes they are literally everywhere, this is why they're so popular, this plus the chorus who stay in your head even if you don't like it, you sing. It's the only thing that I find hard to make in this type of music.

What would it be like if Wayne Static had a bitch little brother?

http://youtu.be/F90Cw4l-8NY

I think a real life celebrity deathmatch between them is in order.
Sometimes I hear certain sounds, and they make my dick really fucking hard.........

I'm guessing you haven't checked out the RIP thread lately. It's a little late for that.
