It's hard, but the sadness of Phantom Bride draws me in. My #1. I had it on repeat on my way to work today and lyrics made me think of people I know that are in that situation. And it was really moving.

And #2, Hearts / Wires. Love the lyrics, the atmosphere...

After about a dozen listens of the higher quality leak:
1: (L)Mirl
2: Rubicon
3: Gore
4: Geometric Headdress
5: Phantom Bride
6: Pittura Infamante
7: Xenon
8: Acid Hologram
9: Hearts/Wires
10: Doomed User
11: Prayers/Triangles

I think #1 sticks.  Tracks 2-9 are almost interchangeable, because the entire album is very consistent in terms of quality.  P/T is the only track I don't love, and it's still an above average song by any band's standards.

Cullision

At this moment the only songs I actually like are hearts/wires and acid hologram.

Reichward

I listened to the album once for the first time yesterday on spotify, and several times earlier today on CD. My view on Gore is subject to change (a lot), but right now I would probably pick Acid Hologram when asked which once is my favorite.

Longstem

Hearts/Wires.
Even after hearing this song non stop a week long.
Cuts thru the bone every time.

Phantom is second !

I changed my vote from Acid Hologram and Xenon to Acid Hologram and Pittura.  I hated it at first, but that song is stuck in my head all day now...

Rubicon obviously.

Yup. Lmirl is right there as well. So is Phantom for me. Love the second half of the record. Some of the best music they have ever made. Like the first half too but not like the second half. Hope this record is huge for them. All hail Deftones !

And the final Chino's moan with the Stephen's 8 strings.
Almost like the end of Root.

Rubicon is definitely a great closer to the record

Not sure if my fav...but, the first time you listen to hearts/wires it´s wonderful.

DeftonesNZ

Hearts/wires wish it was longer so the different elements where expanded more but it embodies the dynamics I love from Deftones, has really pretty spacious moments and then heavy and intense moments and shift between them easily. (L)MIRL is my second favorite creepy sounding intro goes that turns into a more positive sounding chorus but the quirky guitar that comes in gives it an unsettling vibe, Chino sounds like he's mentally unstable and becoming more deranged as the song progresses. Kind of reminds me of "Brain Damage" by Pink Floyd
