Also, just so you know, a double vinyl LP counts as 2 records sold.  So anyone who got the 180g black vinyl counted for 2.

So, if I have black vinyl, white vinyl and 2CD  counts as 6 copies ?

I thought the white was a single LP? If it is, then that I believe would only be one.

And I believe I've heard that double albums count as two. I was looking into record sales of classic rock acts and how they might be inflated by this measure some years ago.

I have white and it's 2 records.

Cleopatra" should also lead the Billboard 200 consumption chart. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) added to its pure sales total, the album is on track for a first week consumption total of 80-85,000 units.

HDD's projections for other newcomers include 38-43,000 sales (and 40-45,000 units) for "Gore"

#2 in the US not bad at all.

What the hell is Cleopatra?

New album from The Lumineers, music made by hipsters for hipsters. They're just another Mumford & Sons clone. Deftones should seriously be above them on the charts.

The opening day data evidently understated interest in the new The Lumineers, Deftones, and Zakk Wylde albums.

With several more days of data now available, Hits Daily Double has upgraded its projections for the three releases.

The Lumineers' "Cleopatra," which was originally pacing for a first week US sales figure in the 75-80,000 range, is now on track to shift 90-100,000 copies.

The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should result in a first week consumption total of 93-105,000.

Barring a surprise release or turn of events, those figures should respectively earn "Cleopatra" #1 on Top Album Sales and the Billboard 200.

Originally in the 38-43,000 range, the sales projection for Deftones' "Gore" is up to 55-60,000 (and 58-65,000 in total consumption). Zakk Wylde's "Book Of Shadows II," which originally appeared set for 14-17,000 in sales, is now on track to sell 19-22,000 copies (and generate 20-23,000 in total consumption).

Hits also provides projections for Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals' "Call It What It Is" :: 17-20,000 in sales, 18-22,000 in total consumption

We should all buy at least two copies, support the band. They deserve a number 1 album.

I bought two CD's and two vinyls :)

I bought a digital copy and a cd. I don't think I have ever bought two of the same album ever in my life. I just dig deftones so much so I wanted to support them. Hopefully they continue to make great music for us for years to come.
