Ah man, I really haven't been keeping good track of what I've listened to this year, for some reason.

I think Mastodon and Brand New are currently fighting it out for my top spot right now.

It's been a great year for music, especially this autumn it seems like every friday there's at least one new release that i'm into. There's still many albums i haven't really sat down with yet, like the new Chelsea Wolfe for example.

I saw them live earlier this year. One of the most insane and weird(awesome) things i've witnessed.

that crazyness is one of the reasons why i stayed away from them before, but this one kept popping up on people's best of the year lists, so i had to check it out. It's not so challenging as some of their other stuff it seems. A good release for oxbow noobs i guess.
