Light Grenades is one of the worst album you've heard? Hyperbole much?

While it's a pretty weak album, it still has solid songs like Quicksand/A Kiss to Send Us Off, Anna Molly, Title track, Rogues and Pendulous Threads.

If Not Know, When is just bland and boring from beginning to end (with the exception of In the Company of Wolves).

Also, even though it's a b-side, punchdrunk might be my favorite song by them.

Just got back from Roskilde Festival.

Yesterday I saw Bruce Springsteen for the first time ever. I knew it would be a great show, but he still managed to exceed ALL my expectations. Bar none, the greatest show I've ever been to. Simply magic.

He is the motherfuckin' BOSS.

Other bands I saw was:

BARONESS!  - second favorite show at the festival. John and Pete were so fucking happy...smiling and jumping around on stage like crazy. Flawless musicianship. Can't wait to see them again in August.

Red Fang
The Cure (also pretty amazing. played for 3 hours)
Hank III (fucking awesome)
The Shins
Jack White
The Roots

Not a single dud. All the performances I saw were worthwhile.

Jacob

caught Pearl Jam last night. a 3 hour set, amazing setlist, amazing energy from the band and an amazing audience. everything was amazing. never had so many chills during a live show before.

So gutted that I didn't get a ticket for the show in Copenhagen.

In the last month have been to Download Festival, Pearl Jam (twice), Chris Cornell (twice) and Garbage.

Have Soundgarden next weekend. And then gigs by Pure Love (ex-Gallows), Eddie Vedder, Head Automatica, Refused and Bush in the next 6 weeks.
