With the new Circa Survive album coming out this May, I thought I would make this topic.  Thoughts?

i've only heard circa survive and saosin, but i like saosin more.

cove sounds a lot like anthony though

saosin and tsoaf but i picked saosin

saosin > high and driving =  tsoaf > circa survive.

i love circa and all, only problem is that all of their songs tend to sound the same. it's a shame to say it, but his time in saosin was the best.

I really like Audience of One due to it having a huge Cap 'N Jazz vibe.

I love his work on My (fucking) Deer Hunter. :)

High and Driving= might actually release an album.

The guy who played drums (from the band Days Away) told some folks Anthony wants to do some stuff with him and maybe release an album.


And yea his backup on My Fucking Deer Hunter is great.

let me answer that question when the Circa Survive album is out.

It's amazing how much better Saosin was when Anthony was a part of it.

Translating the Name is just grand.

damn, i found out now, that anthony isn't the singer on the newest saosin album, haha.

they have a quite similar voice, him and cove.

I like soasin the most...

Yeah, but Anthony just deliver the lines so much better. Just take any song off Translating the name and compare it to the new Saosin.

i must say, i really really like the newest saosin record. it's just a great rockalbum with kickass musicianship.

translating the name is good, but i could live without the screaming. not that it's much, i just don't feel it needs to be there. he has a great singing voice.

What ruins their new album is the over use of choir. It sounds cheesy.

clearly circa survive.  if he would've released another album with saosin i might say otherwise, but circa survive is the tits.

Does anyone know why he left Saosin?

i agree when you say saosin were better with anthony..

something to do with visiting his home town
and hanging out with guitarist colin
instead of going home he stayed and created circa survive
