I am working on a new Industrial project and I want to open up the creative process to other music fans. I have created a Myspace account that is completely dedicated to one song, A Silent Hell. In this profile, I will be uploading clips of the song as I work on it. Whenever I add or change something, I will upload a new clip. Once there are 6 clips on the profile, the last one will be erased whenever a new one is uploaded. This way, you can keep up with the song as I work on it.
Not only do I want to give you an inside view on this process, but I am opening the song up to outside opinion. Lots of bands are strict about keeping the creative process closed, but I want to do things differently. I want you to listen to these clips and give me your input which could shape the way the song turns out in the end.
I can look at the industry when it comes to current bands in these genres and decide what I want to hear, but what do YOU want to hear? Do you want head pounding hardcore beats? Do you want bass oriented music that makes you want to move? Do you want music to **** to? Do you want harsh/angry/screaming vocals, dark smooth vocals, or psychadelic dreamy vocals? Do you want a combination of your favorite things in Industrial music, or do you want something innovative and new? Think about your favorite Industrial bands and what you like about them most. Make a list of the things you love the most in various Industrial bands, and show me that list.
I am not asking these questions because I only want to make music that will sell. It is definatly not about the money for me. I want to create the project that you have been dying to hear. We all know the album that we are dying to hear, only to find out that it lacks the things that we want most from it.
Instead of being selfish and doing this for myself, I want to do this for my fellow music fans as well. Enjoying the music is what this is all about.

I just uploaded ASH 15. It is what will turn into the second verse. The vocal style is more of a rap this time and I believe that I am influenced by Beck in this regard.

ASH 16 is now up. The chorus is nothing like it sounded a week ago. The vocals are much harsher and I even scream a few words. This might have not happened if it wasn't for the feedback I have been receiving where people have asked for screaming. I still plan on having my guitarist scream some words or lines to help the edge though. He is coming by on Tue to work on this song and some other stuff with me.
I also added the second verse.
