Knowing the tones, I doubt they'll even play new material.
just record the show !
don't tell me what to do, son.
jerry let's buy each other drinks (if you're 21 yet)
ill be at the peoria show.....and i hope they play one song on the clip from eros. sounds like a bad ass intro
6 days to new bootleg !
well they played the new song, lets hope we can get a good recording of the new song from this show too!
record that show on video plz !!! :D!!
i bet they wont play the new song tonight
A nice show it was.
The crowd was fuckin wild.
The entire front part of the floor was a pit all night (even on Change and Passenger).
Melanie was played again...I've sifted through the Spaceland thread, and my first thought was also that it sounded similar to Rats.
I don't understand all the negativity though, I thought the song was wonderful.
Cool timing, very cool scream parts, and catchy chorus.
It seems there are tons of neanderthals that only want brutal adrenaline-like songs from the band.
Give up already, that ship has sailed...go listen to screamo.
I love the way the Deftones have evolved...I wouldn't change a note.
The highlight of this Ventura show was unquestionably Knife Party.
It was an incredibly passionate performance...Chino was very into it, and did all the Rodleen parts with spine-tingling power screams.
I saw a couple people recording the show, so I'm sure there will be a boot up here by tomorrow.
I only got a few underwhelming camera phone pics, so I won't bother posting them...unless someone wants to see....there was cool lighting all night, that's always been a constant at their shows.
One last thing....I saw the Spaceland setlist, and I do believe they played the exact same set tonight at Ventura...no changes.
All in all, a very fun night....I missed the boys, and it was good to see them again!
They seemed fresh and revitalized, happy to be playing.
That feeling will likely fade by the end of their 6 month tour for the new record I'm sure...so I'm glad I saw them now!
Sorry, folks, I wasn't able to make this one even tho I'm closer to Ventura Theater than Spaceland, I just didn't have a ride to there. Hopefully someone recorded it. The time I did go to the Ventura Theater it sounded super assy. I thought the acoustics in the place suct. Well, hopefully someone recorded it....

And people say Chino can't sing anymore.
setlist anyone?
c minus was on that bitch for a cool minute. does anyone know some of the songs he used? they were pretty dope.
the concert was sick. out of all the times ive seen them this was the best.
Yeah I agree. This was a really good show. Good vibes from the band. Chino was hopping around, acting more social than before. He messed up like once and that was during Passenger, but that rest was awesome. Fucking love Chi and how intense he is when he plays.
I fucking loved the new song. Sounds way more poliched than Rats! so the comparison is void. Way more technical and better singing.
Yeah I really like the new song. Its great. I hope they play a new one tonight.
hopefully the bust out another new song tonight. that's not out of the question
aight
well at least, eros is gonna be brutal
so nobody has the setlist?

my favorite songs that he jammed were foo fighters, Serj, and MUSE...he was on waaaaaaay too fuckin long tho!
seemed like a good guy too, he was in a tough spot goin on before rabid deftones fans.
it was a very average show to be honest...I've seen them about 15 times in the LA area since 98, and nothing tops the Palladium 2000 show or even the Avalon show from 2006...I would kill for boots of those two gigs.
