Well to make it sound good, you need the master tapes.

Aye, for it to sound decent you'd need the song in its unmastered state [that is, all the seperate tracks], plus a decent sample of what Frank plays.
Who knows, maybe they'll release WGTB version 2 one day with that sample in? :]
I haven't really payed much attention to live versions of the song and this sample, but isn't it possible that maybe the sample is in the original song but just at such a low level that you don't hear it as good? this is quite common with bands that use keyboards and samples.

And that's the case... Headphones for the win... :)

Indeed. Though you still need
good headphones. It's very silent.
Yes, that sample is in the song.
I don't need headphones tho, to hear it.
If it was just a lil bit louder, the song would be a lot better.
You don't need headphones, cuz you listen to your music loud! Loud music ftw.

that's what I love about Faith No More, they weren't afraid to let us hear the awesome samples and keyboards.
This is slowly turning into my favourite Deftones song of all time.

Yeah. I have some audiophile type cans and I can hear the samples perfectly.

think about it, they missed the vhs days, then the dvd days, soon they'll miss the blue ray days
off the subject obviously, but i've 100% given up on a dvd, i dont even think about it anymore. this coming from a diehard
so can someone help me make it?

Loud music distorts certain sounds, you don't hear everything.
buy protools

Do you have all the separate tracks for the song? :P
On the subject of headphones, I just plugged mine in and I can hear the sample. Which means my laptop speakers are crap haha.
well yeah i always knew you can hear it on the origanal
i think hexagram has it to, in the verses.u can hear it on the hole in the earth single.
Buy headphones like this and connect them to an amplifier and then you can hear the sample crystal clear.

They'll cost you about 200-400 dollars on Amazon and a decent amp will cost you about 500 dollars American, but its worth it. I didn't even think music could sound so good.
how bout i just use my guitar and play WGTB over it and put the guitar settings on high delay. and ill use these tabs

Thus further evidencing the long known fact that ALL laptop speakers are crap.
Deftones need to upload the seperate tracks to their site and have a remix contest, like NIN

Well Radiohead did it with each stem being a seperate purchase via iTunes so maybe the label will think its worth it...
does anyone have any rare remixs of songs?
