Title: Scene suggestions
Post by: cmndrctrlr on Apr 12, 2010, 06:23 PM
I'm planning to shoot this film (http://www.writers-network.com/index.cgi?m=1&view=86202)  soon and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions in terms of, how they would visualize any of the scenes, or treat a scene or ad something to the script.

Any suggestions whatsoever, to make this film, a good product. Even if you hate the script and think that certain parts need to be reworked. Absolutely fine.  ???

I'd say lose the enormous amounts of visual effects.
Simplicity saves a lot of projects.

(I am saying this after watching the trailer in your signature, not about the script)
tl;dr

the film's gonna be shot simply, in high contrast black and white. the story doesn't really provide much scope for effects. there is no footage for the film at this point, that's why i had to go a little overboard on the effects of the trailer, it was either that or 2 minutes of text flashing at you with bg music.

It was plain old attention-seeking tactics  ;D
