TPID bit the dust. Which one goes next?
fucking y'all suck 'cause TPID is a badass track, but beauty school can suck my dick =)
This place is death is one of the stronger songs. 976-evil or You've seen the Butcher should have gone first.
Out of all those songs, Beauty School was one of the first I got 'tired off' so to speak.
976
all the songs are excellent though
Prince
I want to see Sextape go, I just don't think it fits that well in Deftones catalogue, especially among their softer songs.
CMND/CTRL. I keep voting the same song... :P

haha vesanic moderator? some funny shit. V must be the one who has broken the rules most of times here, never gave up on making new threads all the time although there were existing ones, just went on about it although people complained.good times :) he cant defend himself worth shit without lying, which can be a problem if someone steps up and gives him a hard tim.and he got voted the second most annoying member, just one vote less than rock n frost.that without even trying to be annoying :) i see him more of a collector of mp3 bootlegs than a mod. but hey, we all can grow and get better at things... just study them rules carefully, good luck man ;D
sextape must go

Prince
this is just a punch out in the air
cmnd/ctrl is on its way out.
its all good man, i think you will grow with the mission.
back to topic, people seem to get tired of beauty school.about time. its got a good verse and ending but the chorus is just horrible. its like they didnt know what to do with that part and just randomly picked those chords. sextape, beauty and rocket are the weakest tracks i think but the rest is really, really great music.superglad they could rise from the snw shithole and be kings once again
diamond eyes i find kinda boring. why are all my favorite songs getting so many votes?
976-evil. again!
morons, 976 is the best fucking song on the album!

whats so good about it? It's really basic, but I guess you could say that about the whole album. I do like it more than sextape though. I voted sextape.
976 is toast.
You people are gonna vote 976 off next? I hate all of you.
CMND / CTRL... don't really know why, but I like all the other ones too much... But this one too... Oh well...

Damn! I was looking forward to a good Vesanic vs. Jesusinabowlofdirt fight... Seriously I have not seen one in a while.
Vesanic (don't read this Jesus): that attack was totally unprovoked and he had the audacity to call you an mp3 bootlegger!
Jesus (don't read Vesanic): how pedantic and hypoctitical of Vesanic to act like a moderator! Sheesh!
Ok, sorry guys. It's just been a little boring around here lately...
Before yesterday I would've chosen 976, but after hearing it on the road for the first time, mmmmmm...
I pick Risk.
I can't believe DE is not ahead of 976. And who the hell is voting for YSTB this early!! Nice to see Royal is getting love though...
a couple weeks ago i probably would also have voted 976 but now it's one of my favorites. too bad. at least prince and royal are holding strong.
Yeah I love 976. Aside from the opening of YSTB, I don't really care for it too much. And why is Sextape getting so much hate? Ugh this game is stupid.
Pssssh. It's not a game. It's a test. So far, none of you are passing.
I voted for risk. Song stills sounds cheesy to me. I dunno
Royal Is going to win

I agree. Tasteless bastards! Lol

Agreed....976-EVIL is the most emotionally charged track on the album.
I guess it speaks volumes that this is a great record. Royal will win this I bet.
I like Prince too, but for me it's the most uninteresting song on the album because it feels so unoriginal. the entire song feels like something they've done before. it could very well have been on either ATF or WP. that isn't a bad thing of course, but I've always liked Deftones more when they're experimental instead of keeping in the safe zone. people who consider Prince their favorite on the album only prove that they don't really want anything new from the band. and I'm not bashing anyone for that, so take it easy with the insults.
What the shit, 976 is awesome, vote Risk!

WHAT??? Moderation on Sharing lungs! What is this place coming too?
Just kidding!
hey, watch it or I'll moderate the hell out of these poll results. *evil laughter*
Damn, I love This Place Is Death. That sucks. Anyways...Diamond Eyes (song) has re-grown on me again, so I'ma go with 976-EVIL this time. Just because it's not one of my favorites, and I have a LOT of favorites.
Risk
I'm sure not only wasn't Diamond Eyes voted off first but it's still not the most voted for this round. 976 should be one of the last to go.
Diamond Eyes and Prince are the only weak(ish) ones, in my opinion. The rest of the album is awesome!

personally, i prefer when deftones sounds like deftones, because i love that band.
i dont mind safe at all as long as its good.if i buy a new deftones record my first thought isnt "wow i hope they sound different this time". in fact, its the opposite
I knew someone was gonna say that, and it's really a twist of my words. it's hard to explain exactly what I mean though. of course I want them to sound like Deftones, not like any other band. but what they're really good at is experimenting with their own sound. doing new things and still sounding like Deftones. let's take two examples: YSTB is, to me, a song that is very original and experimental, but still sounds very much like Deftones. it feels like a natural evolution of part of their sound. Mein on the other hand is also pretty original and experimental, but doesn't sound very much like Deftones at all. I don't hate that song as much as most other people here, but I still have a hard time thinking of it as a true Deftones song. see what I'm getting at? most songs on DE fall under the first category - they sound very much like Deftones, and one of the reasons I (and I'm under the impression that this goes for most fans) love DE so much is because it has such a classic Deftones sound. but Prince unfortunately sounds like a song I've heard before. it has nothing new, nothing exciting about it.
for me it doesnt have to be new to be exciting.i get excited everytime i hear the older sound because thats what i love.
im sure lots of deftones fans have this demand that deftones are gonna come up with something new everytime its record releasing time.im sure deftones themselves think so too.its just that i dont have that demand at all.
im a big fan of ystb, but not because its something new and different and never tried before, its because the song is good itself
butcher is prolly my favourite song from the album.
976 i like the least.
Well I like all of the songs but I voted for 976 simply because Im sure its the least song I hear from the album. But to 976's defense, I really like the first and second verses of the song and the silent mellow part with chino singing. Don't grill me because I voted for it tho.
CMND/CTRL is definitely the Rickets of this album and I can't imagine why it didn't go first. Okay? I can't imagine.
yeah like y'all i think YSTB is one of my fav's from this album...
however... thinking about the song structure of that song, got me thinkin of the other songs on the album...
don't they all have the same structure? kinda uninspiring.. intro < verse 1 < chorus 1 < verse 2< extended chorus 2 < breakdown < extended chorus 3 < outro...
maybe with an "extreme verse 3" in between breakdown and extended chorus 3...
i dunno.. that was just really the only reason this album didn't do it for me... other than that it's solid
My vote went with Risk
