I think it would. I have a 360, but my guitar from GH3 worked for both Rock Bands.

yup... I have a PS3 & GH3 guitars and they work with every GH/RB game now
bought RB2 earlier. wish they'd picked better songs, like bqad, royal, and change, or 3 diamond eyes songs to promote the album. odd ball chioces, but i still like these songs alot even if they're from my 2 least fav deftones albums. hopefully they get another group of songs at some point

on expert?
i just don't have the hand eye coordination to handle alot of expert songs and some hard songs, but these i beat on expert first try. certain paterns just kill me though. some i can beat on expert, some i never could in a million years
i downloaded them too. actually the bass is harder on cherry waves and minerva than the guitar. these are fairly easy on expert but definitely harder than smashing pumpkins 'today' or weezer 'undone', just to name a few. i just got 5 stars 97% on undone on expert first try and i'm not very good at all. the highest i see myself ever getting on these deftones songs is maybe 94-95% 4 stars, i've done 90-91% so far, forget which songs, all close to that though. and i'm glad they changed hite chart for this game
Sweet! Haven't played RB2 in a long time but now I guess I'm gonna have to start playing it again to download Deftones and play it until I get a 100% on expert on each song

yeah they picked some really easy songs. I didn't even finish playing Cherry Waves on guitar it was so slow.
Can't wait to get my drums back, now THATS gonna be fun....Cherry Waves an HITE both have pretty cool drum tracks.

Also all the Slipknot songs you can download - some are a bit hard on expert but Deftones is achievable.

I feel like this will just be an initial thing, though I know that's all it has been announced as so far. I just can't see them only making it a preorder song when they could eventually make it regular downloadable content.

yeah but on a real guitar you can hear it when you fuck up, on rock band you can play sloppy and still sound just like the record. thats the fun part.
