so I was watching an interview from deftonesworld.com and wondered...how frequently do we really visit the site?
i check it out once a month at the most. if you want to know whats going on with deftones sharing lungs is usually the place to look at.
every single day...
I pretty much never go anymore, as I "studied" it a lot when I was younger, unless I forgot some thing from the Tones history... And for all the news, I check SL, it's more than enough already...
I don't visit that often. All the spams usually piss me off.
Didn't someone suggest fixing up the site ourselves?

I get most my info off this forum. But if I wanna see some pictures or some other stuff I'll go check the website out.

WOW used to go on that site alot.... no need anymore think i have seen everything on there shame really was a quality site when it was always updated! whatever happend to nuno??
I'm here. Like I said my life changed so all the frenzy around DW was put aside. Hopefully things will be better for me in a couple of months and I'll start re-building it from scratch.
I nevere check it cause I already read the whole site years and years ago. For news I check SL. The web is good for people who are new to Deftones, thank you Nuno.
Frank is right, wihtout deftonesworld I wouldn't have obsessed that much with the band.

I was told that you were one of the guys who wanted to bring it back to the old days. I'll need some help with that. Are you still up for it?

Without a doubt. I know nothing about web designing and such, but I think I could really help adding content and bringing ideas. For example, I could make the guitar tabs section up to date, or the interviews. Whatever I can do, I will.
Nice, that's what I needed someone that can bring the content in. I'll let u know when I get my stuff ready. If someone else wants to join in would be even better. Anyone with time and dedication to keep DW updated?

I nominate Vesanic, Sly, and Pulka. They have a ton of stuff and contribute frequently!
Well I'd be happy to share my content on an eventual streaming service for the website, but Nuno also has tons of stuff if I'm correct.
I'm mainly looking forward for people who can share fresh stuff, post news, keep things in the right place, since DW has tons of files...that's the main problem the amount of info I have in different sections...
Well I'm willing to help for that too. Just hit me up if you need me.

Exactly that, my French friend.
i used to visit it back in time, till 2007, since then i mainly come to this forum or deftones.com, but i check it once in a while
glad to hear that it will be refreshed, i would like to help, of course, but unfortunately i don't have much free time this days, but if something is needed i'll see if i can contribute.
I used to log on DW a LOT a couple years ago. Nowdays I just go there a few times. When I'm looking for news I look around this board.
As someone who just discovered the Deftones, that site has been invaluable. I've logged quite a bit of time on it learning about the band. Since it is outdated, I comb the boards here for new info, but sometimes there is a lot of bullshit to plow through to find good stuff (and sometimes just a lot of bullshit ;D). Just wanted to give thanks to Nuno for having put that site together.

What Mommabear said goes for me too! as a sort-of new Deftones fan, I really enjoy reading the interviews from Chino, and the band members and learning about what they say about their lives professionally and personally. I also liked how each member had a profile page, and you could see their birthdays, where they were from etc. etc., way cool! The only thing I would try to improve is the writing is so damn small, for us old folks, (I'm 36) its kind of hard to read ;D and thanks to Mommabear, she is the one who told me about the site:) word of mouth from fan to fan is always a good thing :) Oh, and I also thoroughly enjoyed reading the "interpretation of songs" section, how different fans interpret the songs differently. Of course it would be cool if Chino himself would say it, but I've seen enough interviews where Chino says he likes to leave it to the listener's imagination and he will never disclose, the true meaning, in his head, behind most of the songs. That leaves the music mysterious, and lets the mind wander into a dark place( my mind usually already is in the dark place)and always get lost in the lyrcis to ponder what is the meaning? it's fucking awesome.
