Thanks Sly! Haven't seen that one before. He's got a ton of positive energy and love coming his way. He will recover, but fuck your seatbelt is so important.

Wow. Chi is amazing, and so are his loved ones.

Gina is pretty incredible too. So driven.

I believe Chi will wake up.

I think so too.
I hope so.
I've said before, i met Chi and he seemed like a genuinely good guy.
I've always hoped that at least Chi could get to a point where he could at least interact with friends and family and get back to his life, but after watching this i feel that maybe it IS ACTUALLY possible that we will see and hear him again MUSICALLY!!!!
Definitely exciting!!!!
Weird thing is, Sergio seems like a cool dood too, and his basslines  on DE are awesome, what will become of him if Chi makes his triumphant return?!!!!

those have to be some of the strongest people i've ever seen. HUGE respect and love for the whole Cheng family and Gina. frankly all i want to see is his family get him back. we can't be selfish fans.

Did anyone watch that video and question Chi's doctors??? I looked at their website and NO ONE at their organization has a medical degree (MD), only Ph.D's or Doctor of Philosphy. Doesn't that strike anyone as STRANGE??? A little bit of online research dug up this article about how patients with MCS like Chi can communicate with their physicians: http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2010/feb/03/vegetative-state-patient-communication (http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2010/feb/03/vegetative-state-patient-communication) . I looked up both the UK Dr. Owen and NY Dr. Schiff mentioned in the article and contacted each to see if they've heard of Chi's case. Dr. Schiff is an MD with Cornell Weill Medical and has clinical expertise in Disorder of Consciousness and Neurophisiology. http://www.weillcornell.org/ndschiff/ (http://www.weillcornell.org/ndschiff/)
I'm impressed by Dr. Owen and Dr. Schiff. I was much less impressed by the little I could dig up on Chi's current Dr. Philip A. De Fina.

It bothers me that he's clearly got activity going on behind that body that can't move right now and he needs better care fast.

The other thing that really bothers me is that all these rock stars (dudes form Korn & POD) are tellin' everyone to donate donate donate--which we all are, I know, as much as we can. When all they'd have to do to raise the 500k Gina is currently asking for is pull together w/ their other rock star friends and sell a couple of their extra cars or what not and have the money Gina is requesting. I just don't get it. Seriously.

I do get that the insurance company dropped him. Bureaucracy is a 4-letter word and insurance co's couldn't care less about the life on the other end of the line.

Does ANYONE of you out there hear what I'm saying??? Am I striking a chord??? Gosh, I sure hope so and I sure as fuck hope that Chi gets the best care money and gumption can provide!

gumption, meaning people who are willing to question everything and persevere til the goal is reached and obtained!

those "rockstars"  are reborn jeebus-fanatics who wasted all their money and possesions on their imaginary friend. Head has even filed bankruptcy recently.

the money you talk about, is at 50. too bad 50 dont like deftones probably. fuck 50 man.
