play them one on top of the other. wow. so goddamn similar. very different style but near identical melody.

EDIT: 976-EVIL is somehow still more original than this though. that girls song is just more feist ripoff "indie" hipster bullshit.

Yeah, i'm sorry, but for this "genre", i like this song. And i usually hate "hipster bullshit".
IMO nice lyrics and simple but awesome structure and melody.
And other than the chorus has very much in common with 976.
Thanx Jujuslim and Home Depot.
Just left home to live with my girlfriend yesterday and take a chance on the unknown and this song actually really spoke to me....
Of course i found it on sharing lungs...........

meh hipster shit can be awesome. Black Keys anyone? The National? I mean come on. just cuz it doesn't have heavy riffs and screaming doesnt mean its bad. as a matter of fact Sasquatch 2010 was one of the best times of my life.

How are the Black Keys a hipster act? By the way, i agree with you for the most part, but i personally just get sick of any one particular style after prolonged exposure.

idunno. how is any band a hipster act? I find a ton of hipsters just love the black keys, the reason I brouht up sasquatch was b/c the majority of the crowd was hipster style. but the music is still very different. its like trying to call INDIE a style of music when you have people calling bands like the Arcade Fire indie and Bloc Party indie. the music is too widespread to define yet so many bands are on majors now so its not INDEPENDENT.

idunno if that makes any sense at all, but I guess im just trying to ask: What is a hipster band?
