i saw the video for 'wonderful life' early last year on rage and kind of scolded myself for being hugely impressed, although i know they fuse a lot of the sounds from 80's bands, but i still couldn't help it. i got their record and was really impressed. the reviews weren't so great. something about the boys being more interested in their image than their sound. i didn't think that was the case. their record was really well developed. the songs were so simple which is really what made them stand out for me.

from memory there were two songs that i didn't like so much from their cd but the rest were very very good. blood, tears and gold is ahsum.
