Title: Australian support...?
Post by: the deft ones on Jan 26, 2011, 10:00 PM

Hey guys, I hope this hasn't been answered in another thread and I'm doubling up (mods, please delete if so), but does anyone know who's supporting the 'tones for their Australian tour?

Particularly the Melbourne show on the 31st?
I can't find the info anywhere on the net.

Thanks Ves.
On the tour posters it says "with special guests" - but there's no info anywhere available (that i can find) suggesting who.

Can't freaking wait to see the boys for the first time since 2007.
Im as excited as a horny hillbilly at a family reunion.

Feel free the lock the thread if you see fit mate.

Im taking that with a grain of salt though - on various sites under support it says "N/A" - so there's probably none.

I'll try mate - all depends on how excited (*note: pissy) I get - but I'll do my best!!

Man, this is a totally serious but funny question. Please don't take it wrong, but are there really "hillbillies" and "family reunions" in Australia? I thought it was a North American thing......(not proud or anything like that)

Karnivool would rock.

I was hoping they'd bring another band from overseas who weren't doing the Big Day Out, guess I'll find out tomorrow

Haha, yeah mate - i thought I'd use some Americanisms for that one.

We have family reunions - but our "hillbillies" are more commonly referred to as "rednecks" or "bogans".
But I'm from Tassie (live in melbourne now), and there is a common conception Taswegans have a penchant for fucking their relatives - so I really shouldn't be making wise-cracks about that!!

(no offence taken)

According to Facebook, a band called Twelve Foot Ninja are supporting them? I heard another band a week or so ago, but i had never heard of them.

Not sure what they were called, but it was a dj set list.
