Anyone think these guys will ever release an official live album?
No
This topic has been batted around through the years.
Would love to see it happen...but doubt it.
One was out already, some years ago...

not a good live band.
Usually I would be guessing I'm reading it out of context, but in that case.....
Since when is Deftones a bad live band ? u mad ?
They will. Maybe after they break up. All bands do it. Shit, every umphrey's show is available to buy in multiple formats the day after the show.
"After they break up" my heart stopped for a little. Can't imagine them breaking up but I guess it has to happen.
When they retire.
All I know is when they do they're relying on the basic b-sides/rarities crowd to support it, so after that shit they probably know its not gonna sell too well.

didn't know that the b-sides album bombed sales-wise. with the renewed hype these days they might do better with vol 2, though. i don't see them ever putting out a full live album.
unless they extended some of their songs or changed them up live, ya know, i don't think they'd ever put out a live album... just because there's really no difference between the live and album versions of their songs, with the exception of some of the adrenaline stuff.. abe seems to spice those songs up more live...
