Posted by the venue yesterday;
"We are announcing a super special show at 11:00am tomorrow (monday). There will be a "fanclub" presale through the artist....THEY are selling most of the tickets to this show. So when we announce this show tomorrow at 11am, make sure to go to their facebook, like it, and see the details on how to buy tix....no hints from us on this show, all i can tell you is that they have NEVER played southern california....hmm, how's that for a hint?"
:o
tix on fan club pre-sale at noon (in 20 mins)
In California for 3 weeks over Xmas and New Year. Timing fail. :-\
got meh tix
how much was the total for the tix?
pair was like 44 or 48
nice
yea, it was will call only, so its a little cheaper. I love the venue, though part of me isnt sure if they can sell it out or not.
no one seems THAT excited.
>_>
<_<
You'd think they might add on some cool bands. Crosses doesn't even currently have enough released material to play a whole headliner show. Even if they play only 45 mins, for the price of tickets, and the size of the venue, you'd think they add a few notable artists.
oh well.
I hope they come to norcal. :)

They'll most likely release another EP before the show. They can also always debut new songs live. It would be absurd for them to play a 5 song concert.
I agree, it just feels premature to play the Glasshouse. It's a big venue. Troubadour makes more sense, or private/secret DJ clubs/bars.
Whatever, what the fuck do I know? Let's get stoked.
dude fuck it, ill make the trip from Houston. Cant go a whole year without some sort of Deftones until they tour again. I'm all in for seeing what this sounds like live. And ill bring my camera to help with a multicam.

no i'll let you pay since you're driving! i think that's fair...
edit: but on a more serious note, i'll definitely consider it if i have the proper cash flow at the time
got my tix
I highly doubt they would book a show if they didnt have enough material to play a decent set. Yeah they might only have a 5 song ep out, but who knows if maybe those where picked from like 15 songs.
Is there for sure going to be tickets at the door, or should I go ahead and secure mine? And I won't be flying, I'll be driving from Houston, TX. So the more people the better IMO. Save money on gas and stuff.
Who's on the way, and wants to throw in on the trip? Thinkin bout renting a Prius or something stupid good on gas.
Dude brah, let's get real here : if you're driving from Houston, wouldn't you feel better securing the tickets in advance or having a real shitty situation of hearing the concert outside the venue?
In all likelihood, it won't sell out. But the guestlist will probably be filled way beyond capacity due to it being their first show (aka every industry person in the world and journalist will be invited) - plus, you're not saving any money via service fees, the tickets they're selling online use the same service fee structures as what the box office night of show will be charging. Plus, day of show, ticket prices might go up, which means you'd be spending more by buying at the door.

Set list?
Every song they have released in some order ha. Plus a cover of an Anne Hardy song w/ Anne Hardy. It was an awesome show, however they have a few bugs to work out. Some of the softer, simpler stuff didn't translate perfectly live, and something was off with the sound system in a couple spots - they kept overloading the speakers or something.
Overall though, awesome. Chuck Doom was a beast on stage ha.

How anyone would ever know that is amazing lol
I'm a big fan of front 242, so I actually would have known... shrugs. One of the most well known industrial bands out there.
any recordings of the show ? :)
