Why doesn't this site go offline with some statement, or something, in honor of Chi's death. It's pretty embarrassing and cold hearted to see discussions about Justin Bieber and eveything else continue while one of the people that basically inspired you to ever come to this site just passed away. Just some dumb thread labeled 'Chi'. Yeah, life goes on eventually, but showing some proper respect would be pretty obvious you'd think.
You can give the right example rightaway to Deftones own managment, or maybe just the band themselves, as there's isn't any mentioning of this on the official website or FB or some other of their 'social' media. What a bunch of fucktards.

You ever think that they are too busy mourning for their best friend and bandmate of 20 years to post something online right now? They will probably release a statement soon. Have some patience.

Deftones posted a status about it. They would've done so sooner, only, you know, one of their closest friends passed away. I know modern day with all the phones and technology and social media gets to people and everyone updates their status while they're in labour or on the toilet, but not everyone does. And given the extreme circumstances, I think we can forgive them for taking a day or so to get their heads straight enough to find something to say.
