after seeing this video, I began to wonder if that intro on When Girls Telephone Boys at first was intro to Needles & Pins?

Well after seeing the video it should answer your question...
I thought maybe it was just an audio montage in this video - someone thought it was great idea to mix that intro with different song and did that.
Ni it was supposed to be the intro to needles and pins but they changed it
thanks for explanation
But in the end, it fits perfectly as an intro for WGTB.. it makes it much better.

Speaking of the intro to WGTB, has anyone ever figured out what's being said in it? I can usually only make out the last few words of it, something about "hella sensitive".
Yeah I asked that a while ago, Apparently they're talking about condoms something like "these one's are expensive" "yeah but they're worth it they're hella sensitive" can't remember the first bit
"There's no more cops outside. It just takes away. It's kind of why I want to talk to you. It's hella sensitive."
for what i know it is a quote from "the revenge of the nerds".

that's the coolest answer everyone else just makes it sound dumb and ruined it.
"push normal, your cock's inside, do those things work? ...that's kinda why im talking to you ...it's hella sensitive..."

Thats what i hear. It's like two person having phone sex
Sounds to me like they're talking about a microphone.
I hear something along the lines of "It's gotta be hooked up to you"
then some things I can't make out.
Then "it's hella sensitive."

According to wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deftones_(album) ) :
"A leaked tracklist from a month prior to the release featured "Needles & Pins" as the opener, under the title "Aria". The song's title & tracklist were changed at the last minute."
So maybe this little dialogue was supposed to be an album opener with "Needles & Pins" at some point

Every Deftones album has had silly working titles, they talk about it all the time in their interviews. They're never meant to be the official final titles, they're just usually something ridiculous or something they find funny or stupid to call a song until it's finished.

Except for Diamond Eyes, most working titles were used as final, except for TVP and maybe another.
