I have never been an audiophile or anything. I just listen to what I like. On my $20 headphones, would something like this be worth it for me to get if I already have the album?

Definitely not. You need some good headphones only to hear the difference between 320 kbps and loseless, so buying the 24-bit version with your current gear is pointless. Invest in a better soundystem in priority.

A reliable source with pics for proof. Super disappointing, was hoping for a proper 24bit like KNY

Long story short, the Qobuz 24bit version is basically the 16bit version. Hoping for HDtracks to have a proper one, or a good vinyl rip to see if the dynamic range is any better.

Havnt heard the whol ATF tracks, but on the ones i heard, Chi is very present. And theres more clarity to things, like the ending to Headup, those noises at the end get really fucking creepy uploud

I just bought it too fuck. Ill try it out and test it. Can we build a case with proof that it is upscaled? I want a refund if so or at least get proper files.

Well theyre doing false advertisement if thats the case and this arent what they claim to be. Their QA page states otherwise. Its sort of hard to tell 16>24 conversion anyways. Unless someone has any hard proof.

Absolutely. It makes the solo completely disappear from the track. Actually, it sounds like they went back in 1995 and re-recorded the whole song with the gear they used with Adrenaline.

KNY they had around 3 years ago was indeed superior to the CD, not sure about the rest I'd be sceptical about anything prior SNW in particular. Wish DE is a proper release, wasn't satisfied with what ended up on the CD, too muddy and compressed.
