today
days
are different,
always,
each
moment,
everything
is unique

today's
never been
seen
before

				raindrops
You come along,
like raindrops
upon the water,
and feelings
ripple through my soul.

				sidewalks
footpaths
broken and cracked
from tree roots
pushing up,
in some places
the slabs
upheaved enough
to create mountains
in the way.

				water world
calm ponds reflect
the world so vibrantly,
the world above
on a special surface,
changes perspective.

				change
making a change
makes me feel better,
like I'm doing something
about something.

				fallen
massive tree,
that fought the wind,
now toppled;
the giant lies
where it once stood.

				carried away
ideas
are like
birds,
and i love
their
sweetest songs.

				black coffee
drink,
so crude
and bitter,
yet,
once again,
i find myself
indulging in
the darkness.

				plans
i lose
the thought,
but spaced
enough
for something
new.

As the Sun Gains the Sky
May our love be
Always like the dawn,
Forever growing
Brighter and warmer.

				my own
sometimes,
maybe I seem jaded,
but,
I'm proud to say,
'I'm taking my life back.'

I do need a break. Not that long ago I was called 'stupid' for saying 'people who have been through hardships are often the ones who want to help the most.'

				Ok!

				Edifying
Love says,
'You're special!'
despite what
anyone else says.
And, it's true.

				New Renaissance

Freeze it.
Warm it.
Boil it!
You'll see!

				Gloomy Days
The days are overcast. The ghostly clouds,
That haunt the day, appear by fickle light,
Casting their shadows out upon the world,
And look to be dead, wrapped in mantles of grey,
With faces phantom-like, that seize the mind,
As if some life, some present light, remains,
And have come, now, to tell of some demise,
And of what fallen state is now endured,
Once knowing joy, and that of brightest skies,
To part with that of worth, there at death's door.
