They made one solid Record "appetite" back in fuckin 87. the year of the rabbit. Then a couple cool songs on Illusion 1 and 2 which could have been one record of good material, but they had to get your Dollar bills, so they filled it with fillers worse than my dentist. ITs over for them. Fuck Chinese Domcracy and the buckethead guitarist, i was pist when they tryed to bring that shit back, even that was too late. Yeah, he was the image and driving force in the band but I think Izzy Stradlin didn't get enough credit when he was an important part of writing songs.
In the early 90's Gn'R were my favorite band and I'm still digging Appetite and Illusions but I just fail to care what's up with them nowadays.

Guns and roses are like those child hood stars that had a short 15 minutes and never got back from it cause of there overindulgence in shortcomings. I saw Velvet Revolver play last year and while I don't think Slash is the sharpest tool in the toolbox he is one technically awesome guitarist.I guess I have a sentimental attachment to their early material but Axel appears to have the ego of Vanilla Ice and the temperment of Happy Gilmour.

Lol that was pretty good about Axl. True story too.
Personally Axel Rose = Dick Head, hes an arsehole for screwing over the rest of his band, plus his voice is shite apart from possibly in welcome to the jungle. apart from him, I think that gunbs and roses are quite cool.
i'm listening to "appetite for destruction" right now and damn... it still rocks so fucking hard. an awesome album.

they have great music. Axl rose is a dumb ass. And yesterday i heard some covers...of their biggest songs...in a chill out/bossanova wave. Fucking great.

i've heard 10 or so songs that are suppose to be on "chinese democracy" and they weren't half bad, but for something that he has been working on for like 10+ years i don't think anyone will care anymore when (if ever) it comes out.
