I don't like them personally. Not my kinda music. But I'm sure in their genre they're ok, so I'm not gonna say they suck.

I can't stand that song. I remember thinking it starts off well, but then that chorus annoys the hell out of me. So damn repetitive.

Yeah I quite like Bloc Party, they're not like up there with my favourite bands or anything, but the album 'Silent Alarm' is pretty consistent and enjoyable! It's one of very few albums I can listen to out loud without getting complaints from the parents/neighbours, and it's good when they get played at clubs and stuff. My favourite songs are probably 'Pioneers', 'Luno' and 'Compliments'.

Their stuff's ok. Over here in UK though I don't like the kind of kids who listen to them. Indie kids.

Yeah, the type who think they're cool cos they listen to bands like The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys and all that shit. Although I do feel a certain loyalty towards the Kaiser Chiefs since they're from Leeds. :-[

Muse. 8)

Have you heard anything by them?

Great harmonics and melodies but they wear their influences (and riffs) on their sleaves.

Like a harmonic snack before putting on a Cure/Deftones album as a main.

i agree with you 100% boys and girls. But i have to say i do find indie girls very attractive, i just went to see biffy clyro live and the gig was sponsered by NME so i 99% were like indie kids and u know i noticed that they are not far from EMO kinds in dressing style now, except that they dont wear as much black and pink colours.
