I dont know maybe 77 or some, released Rock For light in 79 when HR was only 22, what the fuck is so HAHA about that? are you trying to make a point? Speak drums...
That's easy, I'm just trying to get more karma points to be respected in the forum. It's interesting, they released their first cd at the time first Cure's too.
Pd1: Not, really the hahahas were about the comment you did on frugs.
pd2: Maybe they really were to get the karma kicks
pd3: What the fuck!?
1 of my fav bands ever, esp. the early stuff.
Also ya'll should check out HR's solo stuff. More dub/reggea tho.

actually Rock For Light was released in 1983. An early version of the band called Mind Power started in 1977 but it was more of a jazz fusion thing then in 78 they changed to hardcore punk and H.R. joined the band and shortly after recorded what became known as the Black Dots sessions in 78-79. They didn't actually offically release anything until 1982 with the ROIR tape. They did release a single for Pay To Cum in 79-80 somewhere around there, was that what you were referring to ?
Where can I listen to some online music by them?
*BUMP*

I suppose it depends what kind of dj-ing you're on about. Simply playing the decks isn't so much of a superstar thing anymore, but it is in one case, so you'd have to say someone like tiesto, carl cox, 2 many dj's.........
However if you're just talking about something that could be played on the decks, fucking hell, where do you start. Prodigy are probably my favorite. Live they are absolutely amazing, and their CD's are flawless. They took all the best elements from happy hardcore, drum and bass, trance, big beat etc and came out with the most versatile dance experience. Even the people who "can't stand dance" still love prodigy. it's strange....
What the f*ck are you on about?

i will post this entire hour long film when i find the neccessary software.
There's a lot of fans of Bad Brains on this forum, I can't believe their not talked about more often...is it because Build A Nation was a disappointment or something? I'm really digging a lot of the songs on I Against I and Quickness lately.
I'm wondering about the difference in quality of the tracks on Bad Brains {self titled}, that got re-released on Rock For Light. Like, is it really worth owning the self titled as well? I have Rock For Light (the album), and the songs "The Regulator" and "I Luv I Jah". Are the songs "Don't Need It", "Jah Calling", "Leaving Babylon", "Pay To Cum", "Intro", or "Jah The Conqueror" worth getting?
upload their best. thanks.
a bunch of their stuff has been uploaded on this forum before, but most of those links are so old that they no longer work :(
