There have currently been 14 episode, a couple of which are on the nbc website. E.P 1 as well as 10 - 14.
The show is about these ordinary people that discover they have...abilities, superpowers if you want to use that term, and the story that they all share.
I can't really say much since so much has happened and I forget what the first couple of episodes were like, but it's a damn good show and has surprisingly good acting and such for what it is.
It is very much worth it, I thought it would be stupid at first, but I gave the season premier a chance and was instantly hooked afterwards.
I'm sure all the episodes are somewhere on isohunt.com if you have some torrent software.

i think its brilliant, a friend downloaded all the episodes and i watched it a few days ago...i watched like 16 episodes in one day..i was smoking weed a lot that day too! which helped me concentrate more. 8)

No, Peter will get his shit together and it will focus on him since he's practically the main character. The story last season pretty much revolved around him.
And yes, Hiro will be his own great great great great great....grandpa, but he'll die in futile Japan. He can't leave. He's happy there.
There will probably be a wierd "What's Bennett's agenda" thing going on again before the painting where he dies comes true. It's already starting.
You know what I'm glad about though? DL died last season. I thought he was a HORRIBLE actor and the DL/Nikki/Micah substory just pissed me off. It was a waste of time. Nothing ws really accomplished there and I had to watch some annoying people every week just to find out they don't bear any heavy weight on the plot. Fuck you Nikki, fuck you Micah, you both suck. May you eat a dick and get killed by Sylar.

I can say without shame that it gives me goosebumps sometimes. Seriously. Last season I got hell of goosebumps. This season I only got goosebumps when Peter was in the container flippin' shit, but still.
And I just had an idea. Maybe Peter told Bennett that the company found him and then Bennett and Peter agreed that the best thing to do would be to have the Haitian take Peter's memory and mail him somewhere and the blonde bitch from Veronica Mars works for the company.

What other things? And Adam having Peter's power kinda makes sense. As in, he was in the time of Kensei and survived the explosion (coulda accidentally teleported to Hiro's time). Or maybe he did explode but since he has Claire's power he coulda just regenerated his lost limbs and kept on going. Maybe he doesn't age either and that's why he can exist in both times. He actually lived that long. Highlander style.
i think the regeneration thing has something to do with it. i mean look at what parkmans dad could do. he went from simply reading minds to being able to control them. so i think its like an RPG, the more experience you get the more you can do with your power. like going from healing wounds to actually regenerating cells. I cant think of them off the top of my head but i remember from last season that some of the other characters had traits similar to their parents

It is getting better. I mean everything that happens I (and my friend who is watching it with me) see coming like 3 episodes away. So the story is wayyy to predictable. But I am really bored about here and its either heros or.....well right now thats actually all I got. So yeah , its better than nothing

I finished the 1st season. The ending was just fucking retarded. And the episode where they go into the future was just about the worst thing I have ever watched. But all in all the show is not bad. Just average. Worth watching when you have absolutely nothing better to do.
and yes jack is the man. I have not seen any of season 7. But I really hope they tried to change things up a bit, because by season 6 they ran out of tricks and surprises. There is only so many times that jack can save the world from a terrorist, who really works for a bigger terrorist, who really works for an even bigger terrorist, who has a mole in ctu, who will kill one of jacks friends, and kidnap one of jacks family members.......only so many times.

yeah it was a lackluster season 2, but I blame that on the writer's strike. I'm still going to watch season 3. But I just hope things get better, and that Heroes doesn't turn into Prison Break (have one good season then go downhill from there)

i did enjoy when sylar was ordering the cops around though. that was pretty funny. I'll admit that this show is stretched a bit thin as of late. i think about 15 characters need to go away. also, whats up with hiro carrying the idiot ball? he was awesome in the first season, now its like he had a lobotomy or something

i didnt feel that way about the last few episodes. I think people expect too much from this show based on an exceptional first season. but remember, spiderman was awesome when it was new and the sequels became familiar. I think if one watches the show as bubblegum rather than the steak most people want it to be it gets better. i did think the whole eclipse thing was a bit weak, but there was real character development, especially in part 2.
i think your right on with the x-men analogy. in reading that comic, one issue out of a hundred may have a big deep philosophical meaning and be really great, but the rest are pure bubblegum and a great way to be entertained.

i thought it was good. i dunno were else they could have gone with itor stretched it out. some characters got wake up calls to show they are not invincible. and others were shown they can still be "heroes" without their powers. playing fields were leveld for a couple of fights. and i thought characters grew alot in a two episode period. i loved the comic book store scenes with seth green and breken myer.

Cool show but I can't get past the fact that comics seem to have better writers.
The plot is pretty crap compared to comics and it seems to make plot lines purely for effect as opposed to twists for a solid and intelligent fan base.
Guess it's hard to steer clear of drama when it comes to TV but comic plots had way more substance.
Now it's getting a bit silly and seemingly strained.

peters character frustrates me. if he absorbed the powers of everybody he was close enough to he would have a soooooo many powers. just walking down the street he would pick up a bunch of powers and not even know it. he would be unstopable with all the different powers, but he only uses the same three over and over and getting his ass kicked.

he is always using ''electro'' or ''hold''(or whatever) power...
when he is challinging someone (sylar for ex) he uses these...
but he can stop the time and fuck everybody.........

if i remember correctly, peter can only use powers once they've been used on him. i havent seen him absorb any powers latley but if memory of the first season is right, he absorbs powers once they are used on him.
i'm pretty sure he just gets them when close enough to some one with powers. i don't remember if it was seaon one or two, he turned invisible but only when close enough to the guy with the power. and then that guy thought him how to tap into them and use them at will.

I did not quite understand why Sylar was able to use his powers near the Hatian, which at that moment was not unconscious. and in general, I want them not to take away the powers of my favourite heroes. In the beginning they took away Peter as character in general, now Hiro.. that's just annoying. and the military guy? hello, I'm a DOUCHEBAG..

as for Peter and Hiro.. yeah, Peter's single-addaptive-power is much more cool (edit: much more cool than having no abilities at all. and I am quite confused with whole thing about him.. he loses powers, he gains powers, he's able to gian powers, he's unable to gain powers.. passive agressive), though this still makes him the most empowered one after obviously Sylar. and I am actually quite annoyed that Hiro yet hasn't his powers back, (no, not to time travel, just to freeze the time and fuck up all the things around lol) and the whole 'I am the hero' thing.. it makes the show a bit more fun to watch.
I am also interested in Ando's power, and how will it turn out in the future.. the catalyst.
by the way I'm pissed with Matt.. I cannot remember a proper time, (before the last episode) when he used his powers normally. he's just always whinning about everything.. and if I remember correctly, he can make illusionary worlds in which others can be stuck.. why doesn't he do that anymore?
and even more, is it just me with forgotten gaping holes in the plot, or we are missing something, like the I-can-point-the-person-in-the-map girl?
continuity is not heroes strong point. again like most comic books. I do think this next chapter has a lot of potential tho i thought it was weak that they just left daphne there. oh, and if hiro and ando have tracking devices in them, how did the goverment, who kidnapped hiro while at the computer tracking ando, not figure it out. i feel like im taking crazy pills when i watch this show sometimes :)

yeah i also thought about holes in the plot, like when ando asks daphne "is that the cheerleader?" and i dont even recall they knowing each other before lawl, but i think it goes quite ok, while its not going like the weak volume 2 cuz of the strike, the start a war thing was nice, claire is not that stupid, she trusts in bennet and she thinks hes following a "good cause" or planning something to help the others, so what bout the texts unknown friend? that made me laugh tho, i wonder if it just a trapt, someone guess whos that?

nothing made me say "wow" in the episode. thats was kinda my point, that it wasn't and exciting episode so much as it was informative.
but i do agree with lostpilot on two of his points. daphne should have stayed dead. nothing against her, but people dying and not really being dead, or getting away at the last moment, or show ing back up as a twin or whatever is getting old.
that and using isaac's loft is getting retarded. thats the most obvious hideout ever. first isaac's art studio, then hiro's timeline hideout, then mohinder's lab, and now peter and matt's hideout. that the first place i waould look.
anyone else think NBC is gonna cancel this show soon? my buddy brought up the point that they've got Leno on 5 nights a week next year. they're going to need to start cutting some corners...

yesssss, I loved the episode.
so many great moments - I really like Angela, Hiro, "the ice queen" lol. And yeah, I think they would bring her back eventually, but it would be good enough if she just died - I mean, that was quite heroic, wasn't it? And really picturesque.
And FINALLY Hiro has some powers. I sooo waited for this. And I am happy for not seeing Claire in this episode.

generally this episode was nice, I liked how stylishly it was created.. I am digging Angela's character very much. and Claire wasn't that much annoying this time (of course except for the acting drunk part and "oh the family, you have to do something, bla bla bla yadda yadda"). Nathan was illogically dumb this episode.. as someone noticed in the internet - if only the creepy Danko knows he is the flying man, how come "his political strenght has weakened". what the hell, nobody knows nothing, he's still America's favourite person la la.
Sylar is being bad ass, and now morphing, this means

and, yeah, the whole Sylar <3 Danko partner stuff is just creeping me out. whole show is about one thing only - MANIPULATION.

Last nights episode was pretty good. I really had problems with the HRG storyline. it seemed like one encounter and this guys life is ruined? i thought he was much smarter than that. oh well. the hiro thing makes me laugh, but i dont know if thats good or not. curious to find out about the bodies.
